The interview I read, said he answered this way specifically about Ghafouri and Rezaeian, but Ezatollahi was not mentioned.

Here is Skocic's post match interview. He is not happy with the performance. It sounds like his plans were not executed well. When they asked him about the chances of making it out of this WC 2022 AFC qualifying stage, he said it is not a question of chances and "we must make it to the next stage". We desperately need a backup for Moharrami on the right back. Salmani is definitely not it. I am not the biggest fan of Rezaeian's attitude but he could be a good backup. I think the reason Skocic is not inviting him is either he is blacklisted by IFF or he has a divisive personality that won't like sitting on the bench as a backup and will cause trouble. Voria is 33 years old and IFF does not like him either!!! Nemati fails to impress!!! Help!!!

As much as I like Milad's attitude and personality, I don't think he should be a 100% starter. His defense and his speed makes him perfect for neutralizing a speedy winger like say Adama Troare and should be used in games like that. But Jalili showed in 20 minutes how much we lose out offensively when Milad is playing. I think Jalili or Salmani should be used there when we need results and are going for an offensive set up.

We desperately need more friendlies. We also need the Kish camp this summer to be at least three weeks long. It is ok if some of the internationals join in late once their league is over but we can't expect much better cohesion between players with these one week camps. Hopefully, in the last week of Kish camp, we can set up a couple of friendlies.

Lastly, I am going to say something unpopular. Golizadeh is a great player, but ye khordeh begir, nagir dareh. That is only the nature of his style of play. Some days he is on and all his dribbles work and he connects well and some days it doesn't. In a league, you need players like that who can create a spark that leads to a goal and if two games in a row, he is off, that is OK. But for us, needing 4 wins in a row, we need consistency. We can't afford to have anyone have an off day. I am willing to give up a little bit of quality for more consistency. I think Ghoddos can be a better ACM for us in the next 4 qualifiers. Gholizadeh can sub for him in the last 20-30 minutes if we are tied or behind.

This game was rough

I really hope Hajsafi finally gets cut from TM. It’s been years of us playing with 10 men while he’s been on. Game was overall without tactics and players seemed like they weren’t trying. Azmoun is noticeably out of shape and doesn’t have his touch.

Where were Omar Al Somah and Kharbin? Were they too busy stroking Prince Salman’s balls they couldn’t come help their national team lol? Syrian head coach would be dumb to leave them out for their qualifiers. I’m not a fan but they are decent players with a lot of experience. It would’ve been good for Team Melli as well.
