To make 2 elite strikers look so hopeless is truly an art. No idea what the Bosnian war criminal is doing in training but all the signs are there for a bumpy June and a generally hopeless team against top opposition.
I do think we probably have to accept this bezan ziresh and inshallah style as our primary style now so with that in mind, you may as well get rid of Gholi and embrace Beiro being our playmaker. What a sad sad state of affairs. RIP CQ, we bulldozed your castle and put up a portable toilet in its place.--------------------------Beiranvand-------------------

Russian league ends May 16.
Portugal ends May 19.
Denmark ends May 24.
Belgium ends April 18th but then they have that silly playoff... Not sure when that ends.
Croatia ends May 22.
Ukraine ends May 15.
Greece ends May 16.
Turkey ends May 16.
Qatar ends April 10.
I think camp should start three weeks before our first game on May 13th, exactly three weeks before our first game. Most Legionnaires will join within the first week. And we should have at least one friendly in the final week of camp.

woke up late and watched the replay of the game few minutes after it ended... then had to run off to work..!
in general, as a whole it was a disappointing performance, vs a really sub-par tokhmy opponent who failed to expose our team weaknesses, hence seemed a useless rare friendly..!
we were especially poor in our MF are and grossly failed at the transition play..!
passing was amateurish with no clever movement W/O the ball until Omid was brought on and he excels on that front and his presence finally brought some organization and sense of purpose to our MF play..!
for me Shoja was the MOM and standout of player of the match..! he lost his cool for a little moment but quickly checked himself out of it... anchored our Defense and organized our backline brilliantly won many key challenges and hardly set a foot wrong..!
BeyBey had a excellent game in goal too with a 1-2 of great saves and a couple of brilliant long distributions that led to our first two goals...other than a few occasions of worry he wasnt really put to proper test by our toothless friendly opponent to really warrant a MOM for me..!
Kanani was solid enough too and dispatched the near post swung in CK into the goal brilliantly to get us rolling early..!
Salmani was OK did his job well for most part but didnt see anything to really wow me ... i suppose because he is more used to left side..??
Amiri his usual hardworking and tons of intangibles and non-stop hustle play which kept the syrians unsettled and unable to do much down his wing ..! i dont know if Eskoochie man had swapped wings for him and Salmani in order to confuse our June opponents ? or just testing them to see if they are adaptable to other side of the pitch..?
Haj Safi and Nourolahi were by in large piss poor in possession and couldnt make quick and clever enough decisions with ball and sloppy in possession and general passing and connecting our D to attack line..! Ehsan really needs to hang his boots already and/or only be brought-on off the bench if need be ..! both should be no more than bench MF depth heading into vital WCQ with Saeed and Saman back into the mix by then hopefully..!! PAG as suggested could/should possibly be moved up to DM to fill the gaping hole we got there in terms of youth and quality..!
Gholi did allright but he didnt look nearly as sharp as his last couple of TM outings ... it didnt help that he was partnering with a couple of hapless partners in our MF line..!!
Both Sardar and Mehdi looked not sharp and clinical and seemed outa sorts for most of the match due to lack of proper service and or whatever..??
subs were a huge upgrades over the starters in their positions ... Omid did much to get something going in MF and Karim who looked to be in great shape at camp had himself a brilliant goal VERY deserving of his recent career sacrifices in order to lengthen his stay in TM..!
B-C grade at best for the coaching staff in terms of preparing our boys properly for today's match..!
ALL IN ALL, im still very fearful of our ability to advance outa of this early round of WCQs which is absolutely pathetic and an absolute crying shame if not..!!
our preparations program so far has been sub par to say the least and we got fked outa 3 home matches and those were awarded to our closest rival for taking our spot in the next round..!! and to top it off we seemed to have an average and unqualified coach who seems mostly concerned with his own job security, via sucking up to local football authorities with his relatively idiotic player selection for this vital juncture...! and and new IFF head who so far proven to be all fart and no shitt..!! Let me see how they organize our vital final prep camp pre WCQs before i can judge this new clown any better..!!

On a positive note, no one including Bahrainis has a clue about TM's strength and weakness.

Another reason to not panic is maybe Skocic is keeping the 4 rapid games in mind and is merely trying out different line ups as he will need to rely on reserves heavily (exhaustion, heat, fatigue, strain).
maybe some of these chaps who played vs. Syria are merely 2nd options/alternatives he's trying out. At least this is what any half intelligent coach would do as fatigue and heat exhaustion WILL definitely take a toll on our lads.
besides I wouldnt discount Syria as total shit. Take a look at their group table.
They top the group, above China.
yes, they cant be compared to the likes of japan, aussies, audis, ... .
but neither are our direct rivals, bahrain and iraq. These two are pretty much on par wt syria.
so again, lets not lose our sh*t and start panicking.
-----------
I dont know if that door is closed yet. But I still think IFF needs to push for change of venue to uzbekistan or somewhere less hellish in June.
the two reasons I mentioned should give them enough cause for protest and change: Heat & the fact that Bahrain has already hosted our tie. Their AWAY game CANNOT be given to them to host again!

I’ll tell you what is crazy. He has 113 caps and just turned 31 a month ago. A legendary career and yet so young.
An icon that is so fire that he is played in every position.
A role model so admirable that he is Iran’s captain.
He is two games from becoming the 4th highest capped player in Iran’s history.
This Legendary captain and national hero will bless us for years to come.#BanNoorafkan

Hajsafi is a good player. He is a rough diamond never had the chance to get refined. But he has a presence and he has a good left foot. He needs to improve himself all the time which I think he does not work on getting better like work on his right foot.
