Azmoun is the best player Iran has ever had. He has the talent to play at all of the clubs he is rumored to be associated with. I hope he makes a move to Milan or Roma so he can shine on the biggest stages.

honestly its very realistic. They just promoted, do not have any standout GKs, and a free transfer of abedzadeh would make sense for them financially too.

I think it would be a very good move for him to consider along with Braga (if they do indeed make an offer, they def need a new GK).

La Liga would be awesome for amir though. One thing he also has going for him is being in a very stable financial situation. Often our players are supporting 10-20 people in iran financially, thats not the case with amir bc of his dads stature and financial standing, amir can accept lower financial offers in pursuit of playing in top leagues, etc.

What I love about amir's improvement as well is how it is pushing beiro. Beiro was spotless during the crucial WCQ matches, great exits, one very important intervention in bahrain game, and in general solid with his feet too. Having amir breathing down his neck is making him a better GK, and forcing him to fix his club situation too. He knows he needs to stay in europe and find a team where he is #1 at all costs.

Crazy how quickly he regressed once he left Barcelona. His potential was really good. Now he's 30, but plays like a 40 year old.

I really want to know what they plan to do with him….if he will be the definite number 1, have to fight for a spot to be the number 1, or if he will be the starter for all cup matches and 2nd choice for league matches.

They have a very established veteran keeper with over 200 caps and a Japanese national team GK so unless it’s the 1st option then I would not make this move and I’m the biggest advocate of getting our players to Europe.
