Esteghlal signs Abolfazl Jalali. I'm curious to see what will happen to Salmani, since Esteghlal has signed two similarly good LBs.
Salmani can play LM/LW also. Hes probably better there actually than Left back. Hosseinzadeh can go to the right wing competing wiith Khaghani there for starting spot.
According to Khabar Varzeshi, Yahya has submitted his list of foreign strikers to the club. Perspolis is ready to spend 500k USD for a new striker and will start negotiations after paying Calderon's and Osaguona's debts.
Groningen signed Irandust today, he's technically still eligible for Iran
I doubt he will ever play for Iran. He only sees himself as a Swedish Kurd.
Had to translate this but this says a lot: https://www.aftonbladet.se/sportblad...ig-for-slakten
“Relations with Iran
He identifies as Kurdish and Swedish, not as Iranian.
- People often think so because of my last name, Irandust. But it was because of the pressure from the regime that my grandfather's father, I think it was, as we are called Irandust. He was an opponent of the regime who was captured. He said he hated the regime, but not the people. Due to pressure, we then got the name Irandust, which means Iranian friend or Iranian lover, says Irandust and continues:
- It is special, of course, with the name. But for me, it's people as people. I love all people. It's the regime you do not love. It's because of pressure we are called that.”

If he certainly said this stuff, there's no chance he'll ever play for Iran, even if he changed his mind or had no other options.
Yes this is very old news, let this be the last time he is mentioned in this forum! that includes not including his name in those fifa playstation reports and so on getting tired of seing post of this NOT IRANIAN player.

Reminds me of Rouholla Dozd-doost who went to change his first name.
