He is back in the starting line up and they are up 3-0 at half time against Haecken. Much better performance as they had conceded 16 goals in the last 5 games.

Any indication that he would prefer Iran over Sweden? With the new Euro format/nations league, European players of 2nd tier football countries get much higher eposure and experience than those playing for other national teams. I'm not sure Saman would have signed again for Iran if he were to choose now.

samans choice didnt have a ton to do with playing time if I recall. He said he just didnt feel fully accepted as a "swede"

Would definitely opt for him to be capped seems like the right time as he is in form and his team is getting better results than most expected. Give this guy a chance in a camp to show what he’s got Skocic!

Give saman another Swedish buddy to join him
