We need to finish them off in the first 15 minutes by super counter attacks and then score more goals as the game goes on.
I've heard from Javad Khiabani that their coach was CQ assistance ! Maybe thats why he has copied the weakest version of CQ game plans! They are a deffensive team and sadly they know how to defend. Watch them against saudi arabia , iraq ..... they defend defend defend and wait for that counter attack or possible penalty ! In those games they had less than 3 chances!

IMO we should keep possesion of the ball and be patient. We should try not to concede and DO not attack with all men. We should play a calm game and wait for that moment too, whether its a set piece or counter attack or simple crosses in the box. We have tall players like Azmoun and taremi that are a beast in the air . The most important thing is that we keep our main focus on not getting scored! if they do then it will be very very very hard to score against them.

Positive points is that we have creative players like Gholizade, Torabi , ARJ , Ghoddos and even ghayedi. They can surely open the game at some point. We just have to be calm and keep possesion fo the ball.

That was a fantastic performance. The boys looked hungry, motivated and sharp. We were also playing really good football. We wiped the floor with Bahrain that night. Hope to see the boys going with a similar mindset into Monday’s game.

While we face many challenges during these qualifiers, lets not forget the positives. While we do have to play this game in Bahrain, they do not have fans allowed. No fans throwing water bottles, cursing our players, playing awful music, none of that. They have to show up tomorrow and play toe-to-toe if they care even just an ounce more about their WC hopes instead of ruining ours.

We must not forget the game of 2001 in Bahrain 3:1 we lost. And if I was the coach now I would seat and watch that game with my players before monday.
With Carlos we won 6:0 in Bahrain! We must win monday to have a chance only a win.

It is still painful to watch this game from 2001:

              https://youtu.be/10WVEimyYYo
Ali Daei told that Bahrainis put something in our food at the hotel

We have to be careful they don't do this again

Goodluck to Iran and hope we win Monday

              I say 2:0 IRAN

Damn, although I wasn't a huge fan, this video reminded me of how good Jabbari was, and could've been.

Bahrain is capable of scoring, What we need is for Sarder and Taremi to show up and show their European credentials. We can win it with their goals. Feeding them On the wings, I hope we start with Gholi and a much more effective Torabi.

Can some1 explain the situation of points to me.

                        I see bahrain 12 points, iraq 11, iran 9.

If we beat both of them, we have 15 points.

How many more games does Iran, bahrain and iraq have other than the games we play each other?

                        Does bahrain play iraq?

                        Thanks

                          Exactly!

And this is what I've been preaching for the last 2 months now

I've said it before and I'll say it again. If Iran scores the first goal of the game, it's over for Bahrain. Mark my words.

Even though I'm a Persepolis fan I really wanted Jabbari to try hard and get into the final 23 for the World Cup. But he gave up on Team Melli Fall 2013 because of reoccurring knee injuries

He was one of the best CAMs in Iran in that era of football (2005-2013). Half of that team that helped qualify Iran to Brazil were also Taji players.

Mojtaba Jabbari, Amirhossein Sadeghi, Khosrow Heydari, Andranik Teymourian, Javad Nekounam, Hashem Beikzadeh..

Bahrain and Iraq have already played each other twice and drew both times.

                              Right now standings are
                              Bahrain 12

                              Iran 9

Bahrains remaining games: Iran, Hong Kong

Iraqs remaining games: Cambodia, Hong Kong, Iran

Iran'a games left: Bahrain, Cambodia, Iraq

Bahrain has played 1 more game than either Iran or Iraq

IBahrain does not need to win against Iran.
If they loose they are eliminated.
If they draw they still have a fair chance of moving to next stage.
