I think If this is true its an stradegy
To make bahraini think this is our for sure line up
And then field a different team
Oraniams are master of doing theaw things
They used to put khodad azizi on wheelchair to make opponent think he wont play and bam
    He started.

If this is truly the line up

I agree, this is kind of mind-game to trick the Bahrainis. Our best Lineup def. involves Ezzat., Gholizadeh, Moharami and MiMo.

The reason AFC/Bahrain moved these matches to Bahrain is due to Bahrain’s insecurity against this Iranian team/generation of players. They are trying to play mind games (because we’ve never won in Bahrain) and believe that they have a chance. Ama koor khoondan. In reality, they fear this Iranian team. They think these tactics will help them. They have no idea what’s coming for them tomorrow, no idea.

        1) This isn’t the same Team Melli under Marc Wilmots.

        2) This team is VERY aware of the situation and of the task at hand.

        3) This team is not the same 2001 team that crumbled. They will die before letting Bahrain win. Team Melli is playing their home game in Bahrain

Any federation in the world would bend over backwards to accommodate a national team of 85 million over a dinky ex-province of Iran with a population of 1.7m, where 50% of the country don't even follow football. Even if this Bahrain team through some miracle qualifies for the World Cup, at most you get 500,000 followers. Compare that to the millions in Iran and all over the globe that show up at the stadiums cheering for TM. How stupid can a federation be

Now in our case, we're not even looking for favorable treatment. All we're asking for is fair treatment.

But that's why AFC is what it is, and this Federation will always be a third rate backward organization.

Bleow is the link to Skocic's Bahrain pre-match news conference earlier today.

He had Vahid Amiri with him. I like that. Amiri has been such a dedicated workhorse for TM in different positions and fully deserves the recognition as one of the leaders of the team. He is truly a gentleman and in addition to his engineering degree is really serious about improving his English skills. He is one of our late bloomers since like Taremi he finished his Sarbazi and even his university degree before he started to play professionally.

Skocic said that TM is fully ready for the match tomorrow. He said that this is an exciting and vital match for TM and is of high importance. He said that Bahrain is a good team and is well organized. He said that recovery and tactical practices have been fully done and we are ready for tomorrow. HK match is finished and we don't think about that any more.

When asked whether you have seen the previous Iran vs Bahrain match and are the conditions different, Skocic said yes I have seen the match and we were supposed to have three of these remaining four matches at home rather than under such climate conditions yet we are fully ready and I am certain that we will get a good results tomorrow. Skocic then said, yes the conditions are different tomorrow and we don't care whether the match is in Tehran or here, we show up to win.

When asked by Bahraini reporters whether he has enough information about Bahraini team, Skocic said that I know your team as good as my own. I know your team like the back of my hand.

When asked about ranking in the group, he said that at this point our 100% concentration is on the match vs Bahrain tomorrow and we do not think about who is in first or second place.

When asked whether he will repeat the same mistakes that TM did in the first group match vs Bahrain, Skocic said that this is a different team with a new technical staff and a new style of play. He said that the match tomorrow is completely unrelated to the previous group match vs Bahrain.

              Go TM!

                  AMIRI

                  Moharami Khalilzadeh PoolAliganji Mohamadi

                  Amiri Ezatolahi Ghodoos

                  Gholi Azmoun Taremi

                  subs:
                  Ghaedi
                  ARJ
                  Torabi
Karim (Possibly? he has a bit tendency to choke and go missing in highly contentious games vs more decent opponents )
Kannanizadegan( i may even be tempted to start him if his chemistry and partnership with Shoja looks better than PAG in practices)
Ahmad can sub in for Saman after 70min of hard running hopefully..!

leave Ehsan on bench, he is extremely nonchalant and erratic with his passes/shots & absolutely the most susceptible of all to lay an egg when the stakes are high in a match .... either via a soft marking for cross or a stupid giveaway, or missplaced pass that would lead to a dangerous counter and avg at best pushing forward.... .!

Go for the Win..! i highly doubt Tie would do us any good and vastly would increase our chances of eventual demise in this early stage of WCQs which will be absolutely pathetic..!

no taking 3 touches before pussy passing sideways and wasting time ...! Need much more Energetic start than the last game and ffs practice some CK/Fks and try n keep crosses into the Center of the Box regardless of how many defender there maybe .... no over shooting it far post n outa play... make their Dline sweat it out trying to clear high balls out of their box .

if we get an early goal, i can see us blowing away these clowns and win comfortably... but i just dont see

Wing attackers must retrieve and help defensively and to prevent counters... Sardar is the only one to be lurking up top ready to push forward.... Mehdi best off approaching the box for attack than staying put in and around the box stationary like HK game... his best attacking attributes are picking the right runs into the box mostly from LW and often arriving to it on a bit of delay to latch on service or combining with Sardar inside or near the box ..! he looked flustered and confused about his positioning as assigned by Eskoocher and wasnt comfortable playing a mostly stationary target inside box..!

its either a rout or 1-0 or 2-1 victory..!! i just dont think Ahrain is getting away with shitt this time around ..!

Which team is better off with a draw us or them?I heard Bahrain have to beat Hong Kong heavy and hope Iran don’t beat Iraq if they draw us

If Iran tie Bahrain and beat Iraq and Bahrain beat HK we both be 16 points we will be second due to better goal deference

All hope in Skokic and our players to pull this off. Skokic seems fully prepared, been ready for this for months and has done his homework in contrast to that olagh we had as our coach last time who only cared about cashing out his paycheck and ordering jojeh kababs when he landed in Iran.

He has the team disciplined and fully aware of what they need to do. No if's and buts but a clear task at hand.

We can do this!! It's all in our power

Yes but compare to other 2nd place teams we dont have enough goals or even points to make it
If we had scored like 5 goals against hk then 1 point would of been fine
                            We didnt
                            Now we must win

if my memory serves me well.. I don't believe we have EVER won in Bahrain. I could be wrong but I hope tomorrow will be the first time.
