Btw we shouldn't even think about becoming the 2nd team in our group we should go for the win regardless of other results in other groups.“It is easier to fool the people, than to convince them they have been fooled." - Mark Twain

Lol imagine benching son heung min, thinking that he would be relaxed and not play to his fullest .
PS: this arguement is pointless! The chances of lebanon losing to Turkeministan is very very low.

We shall obviously know more about which teams will be the 2nd placed teams and what points do they accumulate this Friday, but the way matches are scheduled a lot will ride on the final match days. That said, here is the projection at completion so far;
Group A - Syria: 21 or 22 or 24 points, China: 16, 17, or 19 ====>> We want Syria to win against China so that the second placed ends up with 16 points.
Group B - Australia: 21, 22 or 24 points, Jordan: Jordan & Kuwait: 13, 14, or 16 points ====>> We want Australia to win against Jordan, and Jordan and Kuwait to tie, so that the second placed team ends up with 14 points.
Group C - Iraq: 17, 18 or 20 points, Iran: 15, 16 or 18 points =====>> Iran needs to at min tie Iraq or win to be sure of advancement to second round
Group D - Saudi: 17,18, or 20 points, Uzbeks: 15, 16, or 18 points =====>> we want Saudi to beat Uzbek so that the second placed team ends up with 15 points.
Group E - Qatar: 22 points, Oman, 15, 16, or 18 points =====>> we want Afghanistan to either tie or beat Oman, so that the second placed team ends up with either 15 or 16 points at most.
Group F - Japan: 24 points, Tajik, 13
Group G -Vietnam: 17, 18, or 20 points, UAE, 15, 16 or 18 points =====>> we want Vietnam to tie or beat UAE, so that the second placed team ends up with 15 or 16 points at most.
Group H - Korea 16 points, Lebanon: 10 or 13 points ======>> We want Korea to beat Lebanon, so that the second placed team ends up with 10 points.
Overall, Iran's chances to qualify as a second placed team if the above conditions materialize is fair, otherwise it is fairly risky. A win against Iraq is the only sure way to advance.

If South Korea fields a B team, it’s not because they want to see Iran kicked out. It’s because they want to give their younger players valuable experience. That’s what most organizations do. That’s what Japan has been doing for decades. You may want to check with your future son, but I’m sure even he would acknowledge that in the Asian cup, Japan had their B team in the game and they were super motivated to win. fielding a B team is not about throwing games. It’s about developing your future players, and rest assured, those players are not out there to lose just so Iran gets kicked out“It is easier to fool the people, than to convince them they have been fooled." - Mark Twain

7- 30+ years old players
5- 29 years olf players
3- 28 years old players
2- 27 years old players
lol so far 17 players are over 27+yrs old
3- 26 years olds
2- 25 years olds
Now heres the fun part : They literally got ONE 23 yrs old - One 21 years old and 1 19 years old !
Now this part will make you ROLF ! they already use the young players in their First team !
So apparantly south korea doesn't really beleive in "players valuable experience" thing you mentioned above their. Their B team will consist of older players
https://uk.soccerway.com/teams/korea...republic/1385/ look at their recent squad
It’s about developing your future players

A.) south korea hates us
B.) A strong opponent will be knocked out . So IMO don't really count on lebanon.
They will beat Lebanon, not worried.
The question is does an already eliminated Turkmenistan have the motivation to beat Lebanon?Esteghlal 💙💙
