Good result but doesn’t matter unless SK beats Lebanon. And if SK beats Sri Lanka in a few hours they will effectively clinch the group win. So SK may play it’s b squad against Lebanon. Hopefully not but we’ll see

Woke up to pee and saw the score. Wow that is tremendous. I think Korea even with B squad can beat Lebanon, especially in Seoul. Lebanon will be extremely scrappy and dirty for a draw tho but this is amazing result

Assuming we draw (not even going to think about the horrors of a defeat), Lebanon and Tajikistan are pretty much assured of finishing below us. Unfortunately, China, Kuwait, Uzbekistan, Oman and UAE look in a superior position to finish above us. I suspect a draw won't be enough.

Edit: upon review, Kuwait don't have a chance of finishing above us so it comes down to Jordan not beating them.

Is it 100% that if S Korea beat Lebanon then NO MATTER WHAT if we draw Iraq we still go through?
As i saw alot of you saying this then somebody came on saying 5 other teams will also be head of us in 2nd?
Is this true?
Why is AFC doing this? Why put teams in the group if the results against them dont count towards qualification out of a group? Its just so backwards and makes it complicated to see who is actually 2nd and who isnt,

2.uzbekistan 5 game 9 points
3. uae 5 game 9 points
4. iran 5 games 9 points
5. oman 5 game 9 points
6. china 4 games 7 points
7. jordan 4 games 7 points
if china and jordan win thier games we are 6 and 7 along with oman, if jordan lose they can be replaced with kuwait
now if lebanon lose to south korea wont help us alot, since the team above us and below us can win,

I wouldn't count out HongKong yet, if they play Iraq on the same potato-field where we had to play them, there is justified hope that Iraq drops points here which
would ultimately change the course of our WC-Qualification.

if china lose would be better, lebanon lose is good but the teams like uzbekistan and uae are above us and if they dont lose points and china gain points can be a issue, if jordan lose is good kuwait will replace them
