How many 2nd placed teams do qualify? 4 or 5? Since I'm not wrong the guy in the Irib studio next to Mirzapour said, that because of Qatar qualified automatically and foremost as 1st ranked in their group - there will be even 5 2nd placed teams who will qualify for the next round.

Our points against Cambodia count for the regular group standings. However, our results against Cambodia will not count for determination on which second place teams advance, which is a noticeable detriment to TM since we have such a high goal differential vs Cambodia.

That is correct! Typically, there's only four (4) second place teams that advance. But since Qatar will top their group, and they automatically qualify for the WC as hosts, it will be five (5) second place teams that advance. This obviously helps TM.

We will top the group, and advance as a certainty, if we beat Iraq.

If Iraq beats HK, and we tie Iraq, then we'll be in 2nd place, and that's when the other groups/matches come into play (i.e., Afghanistan/Oman, Malaysia/Vietnam, Korea/Lebanon, etc.).
