Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the following is true: If Kuwait can pull off a win vs. Jordan in the second half right now, and SK beats Lebanon in two days, a tie vs. Iraq gets us in.

Depending on what happens here Australia beating jordan could replace need of KSA to beat Uzbeks - but agreed today went poorly for the most part. Just need to win.

Most importantly for the team is - they won't KNOW. so they have to go in knowing they need a win OR they have to hope for other results so - better to just win.

lol all these calculations remind of the days before CQ, when we'd have to summon all the PFDC engineers/nerds/math guys to model out the 30 potential scenarios.

truthfully, i'm ashamed of the way TM celebrated after the Bahrain win and as much as i hate to say it, i suspect a rude awakening against Iraq unless we have an attitude shift. the team needs a leader to keep them focused.

Good point but Jordan beating Australia may not be enough. They'd need to beat Australia by 1 goal more than the difference they lose to Kuwait (if they lose to Kuwait). Right?
