guys just clarify more... do we really need 1 more good result in any of the three 2nd place matches and a draw will be enough for Iran to qualify.
So it is either
Australia win/ draw against Jordan.
Saudi win against Uzbekistan.
Vietnam win against UAE.
I realistically see the Aussie/ Jordan game more in our favor than the other 2 matches.

And Can we please stop with the extra paranoid conspiracy theories from now on? Not every country in the World is out to make life miserable for Iran. As many users in here Said, South Korea and their players are proffesionel. They play for their country and for a place in the team. They dont give a fukk about us, and Son aint sitting at home thinking about Drawing or loosing to knock us out. There is a reason why they are proffesionel football players.

They don't have to lose, a draw is fine for South Korea.

As I said before, they would do it if that would kick us out. They want to avoid strong opponent. They also hate us so badly.

In next round, there will be 6 pots , and Fifa world ranking will used for each pot. so for example we will be in pot 1 with japan. South korea and australia will be in pot 2 . etc... you get the idea. There will be 2 groups and 1 team will be allocated to each group from each single pot - 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 6.
If they kick us out they will avoid us (iran) and japan.

Now you tell me, would you rather win and get japan or iran and harder teams or would rather draw against lebanon and get easier opponents? As I said a draw would be fine for South korea to kick us out .

As we discussed earlier, South Korea doesnt Care about us or our group. They play for themselves which every proffesionel team should do. We have to change this mentality

You are right but another factor which plays in their favour is that they are not surrounded by countries like our neighbors(Persian Gulf) who always have some anti- footballing tactics. But yet that is not an excuse for us to not play football instead of focusing to throw out countries from the qualification because we prefer to play against Japan, S.Korea, Australia etc since we play true football with them. The only solution is when the Arabic countries slow down the political problems with Iran it will be only then where their footballing will not be as biased as now against us ( still doubt it to happen 100% ) but it will lose its intensity

i can see saudi beating uzbekistan, they beat then 2-0 in saudi the previous time they played each other, unfortunatly all the games are after us, hence we need to focus and win to make life easy for our self
