THe bashing of Nourollahi reminds me of the days when Amiri used to be trashed and called an awful player. Nourollahi is a quality player and plays an important role for Perspolis. It took years for (some of) the fans to finally see what a great player Amiri is, hopefully it won't take that long for Nourollahi.

I just don’t think he is good enough for that 6 position. He looked much better after Ezzi came in. He gave up a couple of bad balls and I thought he held on to the ball too long. I am ok with him starting, but not at the holding.

Beiranvand - 7 - Fine performance. Still needs to step up in terms of defensive organization. His distribution efforts didn't really pan out.

Moharrami - 6 - Continues to look good going forward. But was finally tested on the defensive side. Had one big lapse that nearly cost us a goal; against a better opposition it surely would've been and we'd be down 0-1 in the first half. I remain worried about his marking.

Kanaani - 6 - Got a yellow; remains overly aggressive sometimes.

Shoja - 6.5 - Decent performance, but overall the defense has yet to instill confidence when truly tested.

Mohammadi - 4 - Taken out at half. Not sure what happened with his performance yesterday, was relatively absent.

Hajsafi - 6 - the criticisms of him seem to be based on reputation, particularly on set pieces, because Gholi's are far worse and don't get called out. That said, his weren't good either. Decent job though keeping the midfield clean and then moving back into defense.

Nourallahi - 7 - I'm starting to think this is another case of PF members shitting on a PGPL player. His defense is fine; his passing and crossing created numerous chances yesterday, and he grabbed an assist. I am very pleased at this performance these past two games.

Amiri - 7 - great passing, great hustle. Along kept the midfield clean and created opportunities the entire game.

Gholizadeh - 4 - last game was more creative, this game less so. He is ruining all of our corners. They need to pull him from that responsibility ASAP. These are vital chances and I think literally only one these past two games landed in a dangerous position. He is AWFUL on corners, I really cannot emphasize it enough. And PF members need to stop pretending otherwise!

Taremi - 8.5 - his shot wasn't with him yesterday, but his movement, his vision, his passing, his positioning -- incredible. Still managed to bag a goal in addition to two assists. Chemistry between Mehdi and Sardar is once again growing.

Azmoun - 9 - shaky first half, but bagged two goals in the second using his strength and pace with the ball. Very impressive.

          Subs
Ghoddos - 7.5 - great dribbling, solid passing, really did well in the midfield. If he can continue this, we may have Askhan's successor on our hands! I really like what I'm seeing of him since he reached England.
Ezatollahi - 5.5 - got some time at the end and nearly had a goal to show for it but missed the open header.
Torabi - 6.5 - great dribbling once again, and great hustle to generate the start of the third goal in Bahrain's own territory. Was never high on Torabi, but he is a solid wing option for us.
Ghaedi- 6 - looked dangerous a few times, and perhaps also a little wide eyed. Good to get him in the game! Hope to see more of him vs Cambodia. His speed was on display, as well as his inexperience.
Pouralighanghi - 5.5 - Didn't feature very much once he got in. Hope we can get him to a good place to help with our CB situation.

Coach Skocic - 7 - not a sexy line-up to start the game, but he fielded it to absorb blows and try and get a goal to win. Changed the plan in the second half and went on the attack. Paid off big time. Not sold on his grip on the team yet, nor do I have much confidence in his defense or gameplans yet, but he is building a team with chemistry, and he is winning, and he has a strategy going into every game. And he is slowly starting to win me over based on those!

I just want to say some of you have been over-rating Hajsafi with ratings of 1. Let me correct that: Hajsafi = 0
Also to keep the trend going of other bad players during the game:
            Nourollahi: 2
            Kanani: 3.2
            Khalilzadeh: 3.1
            enjoy those decimal points lol

              Hajsafi = 0
even the 3rd goal was after a bad throw in by him, where the ball was already lost until Torabi put the Bahraini player under pressure and won it back. Literally every touch by him was shit - he has to quit TeamMelli immediately!

Even during CQ time I didn't understand why Saman didn't get more playing time. With his current form, Skocic would be stupid not to put him in the line up for the next two games.

Yes, I noticed this too. Beiranvand takes too much time sometimes to pass or shoot.

Saman is definitely a different player than he was last year. At Brentford it seems like they played him all over the midfield. That experience is quite valuable. I think most of his life he has been a forward/winger. I know many have said this here, playing in top league will definitely make you a better player even if you are not a fix player on the team. Some might disagree, but I believe JB has also improved his overall game significantly.

Could Salmani be a credible alternative to an out of form Milmo?

saman is the key, he can link midfiled to attack and give good balls to our forwards we need him badly, he can open iraq defense, he has to start against iraq, i would play him a little against cambodia, but we need him for iraq game

definitely not defensively vs tariq and bashar. In that aspect same can be said for hajsafi.

Milad is the best LB in the squad right now, based on who is called up. Skocic + Staff need to make sure he turns up against iraq.

I don't see Nourollahi as a number 6 either, Ezatolahi and Ebrahimi are the best we have as holding midfielders. That being said, Nourollahi has many qualities, he's good on the ball. good technique, strong in shoulder to shoulder duels, and has really nice through balls which we saw against Bahrain. He is an important player for Perspolis and can be an important player for TM as well. I don' agree with all the bashing and views that he is not good enough for TM just because he gave a penalty away in the ACL final and a few other moments, a player should be evaluated on this total body of work not just a selected few moments which they can surely improve on. There is not one player out there who doesn't make mistakes once in a while. He's definitely one of the best central midfielders we have in Iran and outside.

No, he is not even close to being as good defensively. Milad is still our best option.

However, I think Saeid Aghaei is really missing from the team right now, along with Ebrahimi of course (CDM)

Nourollahi's strengths are elevated when he has a true DM playing next to him. Alongside Ezatolahi, he can sit in to his position better and help create opportunities for our strikers through through balls and long balls. Additionally, I believe he has one of the best long shots in Team Melli.
