Anything without Hajsafi, please. And Saman, Morteza and Saeid must against Iraq. Maybe also Majid. That's it.

There is no need to risk players who have started both games and will start vs iraq. It will not be an intense match but no need to even moderately exert key players more than necessary in this heat. Cool chance for youngsters to get TM starts in a competitive match.

        Cambodia :

        ------------Abedzadeh-----------

        Esmailifar-PAG--Majid---Salmani

        ----------Sarlak----Hajsafi--------

        Ghayedi------ARJ------Torabi

        ---------------Rezaei------------

        Vs Iraq, assuming no amiri

        ---------------Beiro----------------

        Moharami---PAG---Shoja----Milad

        --------------Ezatolahi----------
        --------Saman---------Nourollahi

        Gholi----------Azmoun--------Taremi

Gholi is still my preferred choice for RW slot. he had an especially poor first half vs bahrain, but still made some excellent plays in second half, nearly scored a great goal, and should have had a peach of an assist to Saeid. Plus he was key to break down HK defense with a big goal there too. Milad had a shit half but we dont have a better LB in the squad, we have to trust him bc he has had many great games for TM in the past, is playing consistently well in europe, and most of all we just dont have another option atm. Hajsafi there or anywhere near the pitch will be a disaster waiting to happen

IF after first 45 he is not playing well, still losing the ball while dribbling laterally, I would pull him for ARJ.

Kanani is a big no-no for me vs IRQ. He is not in the same level as PAG at all. PAG's ball playing skills are massively underrated, he is definitely our best cb on the ball and our best CB in terms of composure and positional awareness. I get he hasnt played a ton of games bc of injury recently but if his fitness is fine he must start vs Iraq. Already vs Bahrain kanani got a moronic yellow (could have been more) and had bahrain fielded a semi-mediocre CF/Wing they easily could have gotten him sent off or into dangerous situations in 2nd half.

this is 100% the lineup we will play, depends also on LB availability, and it may be Kanaani instead of shoja or PAG. but I fully expect Skocic to stick with Gholi over JB and to use midfield 3 of Eza, ghoddos, nourollahi with amiri absence.

This is the best lineup we can have in my opinion:

            Beiranvand
            Maharami - PAG - Majid - Amiri
            Ezzi
            Jahanbakhsh-Ghoddos-Gholizadeh
            Azmoun-Taremi

but as we know he's going to start some weak players like: Kanani,Nourrolahi and his man crush Hajsafi

This is perfect. Although I would slide in Amiri for Nourollahi when healthy. Amiri is a must start when healthy.

For the Cambodia-Game a 1-0 is completely fine, therefore i would give the players on the bench an opportunity:

                Abedzadeh
                Esmailfar-Shoja-Hossaini-Salmani
                Haysafi
                Ghaedi-Torabi
                ARJ-Ansarifard-K.Rezai

For the Iraq Game, it will be crucial to dominate the middle-field (judging by our last two official games against them). Therefore i would prefer a compact Middlefield, playing 3-5-2

                Beiranvand
                Moharami - PAG - M.Mohammadi
                Ezatolahi-Nourolahi
                Gholizadeh-Ghoddus-Torabi
                Azmoun-Taremi

                Possible Subs: ARJ, Ansarifard, Ghaedi

Moharami and Milmo were terrible yesterday. I don’t know if I would want them back there with only 3 defenders. If you go 3 back, you are going to need at least 2 guys in the midfield who can fight and win challenges. Nourolahi is not that guy!

                    ah. how time flies.
it was a year or so back when many of us were thirsting for Amiri's blood (I'm not saying it was you. But I clearly remember many).
what's happened to him in the past one and half year?
                    he's aged and gotten older.
                    what is he now ... 31? 32?

No 32 year old is to be considered indispensable to a team ..... unless his first name is Leo and has 3 sons and an elephant of a sheep dog.

I think most of us have loved Amiri since WC 2018.

I agree with MiMo bad performance in the last game, but feel that it was just a bad night. In my line-up against Iraq, he would have more defensive work to do and cover the space for possible counter-attacks. I think he is the perfect guy to defend small and speedy players like Humam and Bashar Razan.
For Moharami i can't find a better defender in the selection of Skocic, i think Rezaian is still our best RB, but not available. Same Problem with Nouralahi, I would rather have Ebrahimi who had excellent performances (specially defensively) for TM, but he is not invited, therefore i went for Nouralahi.

Going forward unfortunately there isn’t a better RB in Iran than ReZaeian. His deficiency is on the defensive end. But I agree he should have been called up. In the 352, I would much rather play Pag and Ezzie in the midfield. Let Ezzie roam a little bit. He likes to push forward. But I don’t know if the Iraq game is the right time to experiment. If you go 4 in the back, I wouldn’t mind the Nourollahi/Ezzie combo. But no matter what Ezzie has to start.

for iraq game, ghoddos should play center, and put gholi out wide. also, if amiri is not available, arj should slot in at right mid and gholi at left mid. but please, for the love of god, no hajsafi, milad is way better
