The goals still count within the group and so do the points. Needs to be a balance. Bahrain could smash HK which would be very bad for us if we don't pad in this match with some decent result. Doesn't need to be too much.

Thank you Kiarash jaan. AFC changed the venue to Bahrain National Stadium (same as the Bahrain match yesterday) without any explanation (go to https://www.the-afc.com/competitions...-cup/fixtures/ and click on Iran's flag). They also changed the Iraq match to the horrible pitch of Mohammad Al Khalifa stadium where we beat HK. Fifa.com still has the old stadium that you have in the sticky post.

                Go TM!

Everything will count towards final ranking of each group. Only and only then they take the 2nd place teams out, remove the results against 5th place teams and compare them against each other to determine the top 4 second place teams that will go to the next round. Regardless, I agree with your line up with which I think we should beat them with many goals.

                  Go TM!

It’s obvious this loss was a real koon soozi for the Bahrainis. The Bahraini reporter was trying desperately to take out his frustration by discrediting this victory for Iran.

I would have loved to have seen the face of the AFC head who is from Bahrain after the whipping they received in their own soil.

Cambodia are south east leaders and will put up a strong effort against us. The pressure will be on iran as we must win and cambodia may play their joga bonita vs us.

Yes milad_b jaan. Skocic also confirmed it in the news conference after the HK match that TM has to go back to the same awful pitch to play against Iraq.

Thanks for clarification man. How come IFF didn't do anything about it ?? Both iraq and Iran are unhappy with the stadium, surely both can object to it and change it? This is also suppose to be our home game.
