The term Middle East was invented by British Imperial power and has NO historical base. The British also were the first to change Persian Gulf to another bogus term.

If you go back in history to 60-70 years ago, you would find that none of the bogus terms were used. By using them we demonstrate we have NO knowledge of history.

By the way, any pics of the Cambodian coach from today's match? Was he the assistant? The main coach is much older if I recall. Any way, the coach today was also one of my favorites from the match. He was dressed liked a Mortal Kombat character =)

I thought the commentator mentioned that Japanese player Honda was the manager But head coach is another Japanese Herose. Apparently Honda who was standing on the sideline. Very calm & collected as they were getting hammered. I have to say I was impressed with Cambodia with their brave but foolish approach. They really took the game to TM and in the 1st 15 odd minutes they were pegging TM in our half. Once the 1st goal went in, they lost their enthusiasm gradually. An experienced coach would not have played so open against a side like Iran.

In the discussion between ARJ & Ghayedi I think they are different types of players & the game was at a different stage with the Cambodian players so tired by the time Ghayedi came in. In the first half the Cambodians were pressing hard & running hard. If you noticed even Ghodoos was not as effective in the 1st half as he was in the 2nd. I think ARJ did very well in that circumstance, he ran hard, was controlling the middle part of the field & made his mark. I think in the last 2 games ARJ is playing much better than he has ever for TM. Surely against stronger teams I would prefer him compared to Ghayedi, and surely better than Hajsafi. Ghayedi is good to come in for the last 30-20 mins to run at tired defenders.

Also just for some perspective...Mohebi only scored 3 goals this season in PGPL. Hardly the impact of a player who is miles better than ARJ...coming from somebody who still doesnt think ARJ should or will start for TM in key games.
He has a lot of maturing to do in his game but for sure has the raw ingredients to be better than arj if he gets to europe asap under a high quality coach.

Mohebi - Ghaedi - Allahyar - Salmani - Ezza - Hosseini - Moharami -Gholizadeh are future of our team melli. The sooner they start, the better for our team melli. We will most probably see them in the line up for next 10 years or so.

I feel like there was no need for kaveh or sarlak when we have Allahyar and Mohebi ! I would rather play these 2 than those two. But again I feel liek skocic went for experienced players and I totally respect that. Maybe in next round we'll see those players.

There will always be young players which will be the future of our team. But we play today, for today. We should play the best players all the time. Younger players should earn their spot in Team Melili.
On the same token, once older players can not meet the demands of the coach, they should left off the team.

Allahyar was not injured bro. He played in Zorya's last game against Dynamo Kyiv on 13/05/2021. Our camp started on 25/05/2021? He didn't have any training session or games after Dynamo Kyiv game. Am i missing something here?
