The injury will keep him out 2 weeks. It occured on same knee as before.
"Sadegh Moharrami was injured in the last preparatory match against Rostov in Slovenia, and after the first good prognosis, information arrived that his back ligament in his knee was damaged.
In the same knee that paused him for more than half a year. However, this time it is not so terrible, it turned out in the end that he can pass without surgery and that he will take a break for about two weeks, and then start a light training. Whether he will play immediately afterwards will depend on the recovery process. But Moharrami will certainly not be in the squad at the start of the season, neither for Valur, very certainly nor for the first game with Omonia, if the Blues pass the Icelanders."
Dinamo are selling Slovenian RB stojanovic after some years. He will go to newly promoted Empoli in Serie A for EU 1-2 mil.
He was sadegh's main competitor and after sadegh replaced him in xi last season (before injury) they made decision to give sadegh new bumper deal and look to offload stojanovic. They are sanctioning sale bc Sadegh's knee injury that was suffered in pre-season seems to be on the mend and he should be available for selection shortly.
Lets hope he can repay this faith and stay fit for the rest of the year.
I think Croatia did enough and contributed fairly to European football to deserve one direct qualification to CL without going through all these stupid qualifiers.
They have done better than many countries who have one or two direct spot/qualification. Like Turkey, Greece...
