France looks likely to pummel us ... i hardly think we fair well against them? Strong and Physical and yet plenty technically Skilled in key positions ..!!

Spain, Holland and Italy are nowhere near their prime. England is often a shocker, even if they improved lately. Belgium and France are strong but can be surprised by inferior teams in group stage

I honestly don’t think beating Holland would be much of an upset right now…..their tram is full of overrated players. Spain and Italy I think we could pull off a win against too on a good day and if we came out with the right approach

Can see us giving a lot of problems to Holland, Argentina (we did with a set of players much much more crap and way less deep than what we have now).

England if we had CQ I definitely would put into this bracket bc of how well we limited opposition space in behind. England rely on their speedy players from wide making runs in behind. If those are shut down they have very little invention in the middle of the park and can be countered easily with azmoun, Taremi (and ghoddos) so much better than they were a few years ago. I wouldnt put them in that bracket right now yet bc I am unsure of how strong our defensive tactics are with skocic when we come up against top top teams. Certainly starting idiots like Kanani ahead of PAG will put our defensive stability in huge jeopardy, as will selecting Nourollahi as the sole Defensive Midfielder.
