I cant believe how lucky we are. That is the second wcq in row, that we Got the easy group. Last Time the other group also had 3 Big teams, while ours had 2. Somewhere in a parallel univers (football Forum) there are some saudi fans probably saying that we are corrupt and AFC Working for us. Its funny how it works like that

Very happy with that group , with nearly every team it is the option I would have wanted. I would have liked Australia, they are not a great team at the moment but our record against Korea is brilliant so we should have the upper hand there.
Interested to see now what happens with the gameweeks and how and where the games are played. Also wishing that our players stay fit so they can play in them, what goes for us at the moment is the strength in depth that we have at the moment. Options in most positions.
Group B apart from Japan is so open, I can see China, Oman or Vietnam causing a shock and getting that second place.

I think Iran, Kora, Iraq and UAE will compete for the first two spots.

But the lucky part is, that we avoided saudi Arabia. Me and others have pointed out why on several occasions, so no need to list all the arguments again. Point is we Got very lucky, but there still is alot of work to do. I wouldnt wanna Trade places with Japan

You might be right about KSA being stronger than UAE, but still they are strong Team. Vietnam might be stronger than Lebanon, but "styles makes fights(games)" and we tend to have easier time against East/South-Asian Teams than against Arab Teams.
Also keep in mind that beside Korea and Iran, all the other Teams are Arabic and will make sure to help the other Arab-Team that has the best chances to advance in their last game.

Thats why its so important to avoid Them. Weather we get Australia or Korea, or Lebanon or Vietnam, or Iraq or china isnt important. The only important Thing was to avoid saudi

Therefore there werent any room for slip ups, if we were in group with saudi Arabia. Now we Can lose 2-3 games and still qualify. That wouldnt be possible with saudi Arabia in our group. UAE wont get close to maximum points from their games vs Iraq, syria and Lebanon. But I promise you, that saudi Arabia Would get much more points than UAE.

But still our group should be slightly "easier" to advance to the next stage.

The good thing is that the list of Arab teams in our group tend to only "overperform" against us. I have full confidence that there will be some 0-0 draws between the four of them. That just means we need to outgun them in our games and we are through.
This korea is about where we are in transition too. Besides Son, they still dont have an out and out striker to get all the goals. Arab teams will take advantage of this for sure.
