Although I agree playing against Aussies is far more mouth-watering and exciting, I personally prefer to have SK whom we have beaten or drawn against a number of times in recent years and have a better psychological advantage over than Door-Ghooz-Abad Aussies. A) Aussies have an old score to settle against us, B) They will be Unknown quantity C) if played over 2 rounds the journey to Timbuktu is a Killer.

These are of course assuming games are played home and away.

If fans are allowed in, I’m sure we shall pack the ground again though.

As I have stated before, the only important thing is to avoid Saudi Arabia. Honestly there are not seperating Them from the Big 4 in asia. They are up there.
And if we end in the same group as Them, there Will be no place for a errors. If we get UAE i believe we Can loose 2-3 games and still qualify, as UAE dont have the same consistency. Thats the key word for me. Saudi Arabia Will beat the “small” teams in the group, therefore we cant afford to slip up

I'm with you 100%, they are like Bahrain/Qatar on steroids, 3 or 4 years ago not as good and consistence as they are now. Still not the Saudi of the 90s but still much better team then UAE.

The odds of getting all 5 opponents to our liking is quite low so I settle for 2.

I want UAE from pot 3 and China from pot 4. The rest I am fine with either team.
