This is a “easy” group on paper. However we always struggle versus these small Arab teams.
It will be tough but we can do it. We can’t be arrogant and have to take it one game at a time. There are no easy games!

I am happy with our group. Travel is shorter. Teams are known and we dont have a team which we havent beaten before. I think Korea will be super motivated to win against us. But we have enough in us to beat them in iran & draw in korea. My worry are the easier games against the neighbouring Arab teams, we need to stay focused & morivated.

But overall we cannot not qualify with this draw....WC2022 here we come

Second, no matter which of this 2 groups, Iran will absolutely destroy.

2 out of each group make it, nobody should worry about anything like Arab teams could work together or anything, we got the best luck we could get so we really should be happy.

Japan, Australia, KSA belong to Grade A teams in Asia, Oman is a team that can schock any team in Asia.

I think Syria will be our best friend this time around.

They almost felt World cup qualification last time nearly beating Australia in playoffs. They can definitely drag Iraq and UAE down with them. Our main focus should be winning at least one game vs Iraq/UAE and a tie in the other at least with 12 points from Syria and Lebanon. We qualify regardless of other results in that case.

Yeah i an not the fan of having 4 arabic teams in our group. On the paper other than Iraq the rest even UAE don't have their best team lets say.

Its good the Syria games are early so IFF doesn't fix the match to give a favor like the 2:2 last time

I have faith that we have the Quality in our Squad and with Skocic the right Coach to make it to the next round.

To be honest i feel, that our group is more wide open than Group B; it is VERY likely that the first three spots in Group B will belong to Japan, KSA and Australia.

In our Group on the other hand, i think between Iraq, Uae, Korea, Iran and to some extent even Syrian- everyone can beat the other one. Given the recent games between Korea and Lebanon, i expect Korea to drop many points this time around. If Lebanon can take a point against them, just imagine what Syria, Iraq or UAE can do.

Wouldn't be even surprised if Korea ends up on 4th place or even TM! It is definitely a tricky group.

PS: One huge advantage for Korea will be, that they can use their home advantage due to VAR.

we got a good draw, i personally think our group is a good ones
we are ina group with 2 big team and not 3. and uae, and iraq might be good but are not consistent. syria is good but we can beat them, we have a good team and strong bench as well
