    According to the online news agency; Alireza Biranvand, the goalkeeper of the Iranian national football team, broke the Guinness Book of World Records by throwing his hand in the match between the national football teams of Iran and South Korea on October 11, 2016 (October 11, 2016) in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

    Alireza Biranvand's name is now registered in the Guinness Book of Records as an Iranian football player with his 61-meter throw.

                          I wonder what an israeli and a palestinian players have to offer to a portuguese team that our IPL "stars" don't (Torabi, Ghaedi, Salmani, Abdi, Kanaani..)

                            Israel have lots of players in european leagues.
                            Also you can't judge players by where they born. For years Oman's Al Hasbi was only asian keeper who played at highest level football...

                                Not the case at all with Portugal... If anything, Iranian players have great reputation in Portugal and are shown under a good light.
