sardar has a completely different role in zenit and tm and profile in general. But his setup play is also very good, see last night.

SC gets so mad at the FOURTH time mehdi wasted a chance by diving he immediately subbed him out. I dont blame him, its so embarrassing to watch...

Benefica lobby has caused this. The past year he has been treated like shit by Portuguese refs. Porto has only recently started defending him in the media. He should have had at least one penalty. If ref thinks it’s a dive he should pull out the yellow.

Only if Taremi starts shrugging off pushes and challenges, keep running or stand up to barges and hold off as much as he can, then refs will find it less justifiable to ignore his penalty shouts.

This particular ref obviously has had it in for him from the start though.

SC didn't take him out as a precaution. He took him out because he was PISSED OFF at the diving. Right before that, he says "NO FUE PENAL" and immediately asks for the sub, fuming.
Taremi is a fantastic player but holy moly is he allergic to going for a shot when he is through on goal?? He could've had a hattrick
