SK, Japan are a hot fan market for EU clubs .... cause those countries adhere to international business laws and actually Pay top dollars for broadcasting rights to clubs in UEFA and for other money making and marketing avenues of EU clubs..!
IR is a pariah state that instead blatantly steal those TV signals from all involved parties and makes huge $ums from its domestic advertisements for those high valued broadcasts, that none of it filters down to owners of those broadcasting rights..! mullahs have become so brazen that they even do same with our WCQ/Continental competition games and FK the AFC/FIFA outa those earning$..!!
i can next to guarantee you that whole PP/SS expulsion from ACL is for most part retaliatory measures taken to address above thievery by IFF/IRIB..!
and off course, IR doesnt give a fk because they are already under all encompassing blanket economic sanctions and they know that not much can be done to force them to adhere to such broadcasting rights and international rules etc..!
and then off course next comes down to having an overall scary international reputation as an iranians out in the west .... it complicates matters of selling the idea of hiring an Eyeranian player to the fan base.. much less exciting them with it..!

Wolves to sign 21-year-old winger Chiquinho from Estoril for £3 million
Wolves are set to sign Portugal Under-21 international forward Chiquinho for an initial fee of around £3 million.
The 21-year-old winger will arrive on a long term deal from Estoril and become Wolves' first first-team addition of the January window.
Chiquinho has scored three goals and provided three assists for an Estoril side flying in sixth place in the Portuguese top flight. That's despite the right-footed youngster only starting nine games, either on the right or left flank, in what's proving to be his breakthrough senior campaign.
He's set to be part of Bruno Lage's first-team group. The Wolves boss stated at the end of December he wanted to sign a centre-back, a winger and a striker this month.
Chiquinho, whose transfer will include add-ons, arrives from the same club Wolves bought defender Toti Gomes from. The centre-back made a shock debut in the 3-1 victory over Southampton on Saturday.
Wolves are currently eighth in the table, and only a point off the European places.
Wolves signed Hayao Kawabe from Grasshoppers earlier this month, who is expected to return to the Swiss club on loan.
