I was looking for him too, not sure, but I think I finally caught a glimpse of him real briefly. He had a jacket over the trikot. The 9 was definitely nowhere to be seen.

The lack of passes to him, reminded me of when he first started playing for Porto, coming from the bench or even playing from start. Porto attack was very selfish and we thought our boy was ignored. But that all changed. Tonight it was like back to zero. Maybe a Cup effect?

Porto is a khoreh team.

Never forget Luis Diaz khore-boiii being the most egoistic ahole in the whole squad. The day he switched to Liverpool he became socialist on the football field passing everyone and dribbling only when necessary. There seems (I hope Im wrong) to exist a khore culture in this team.

Downside:

- Taremi was really overlooked and badly treated and it's not the first time where players in this team act like solist retards

Upside:

- When Taremi is the biggest team player, hard working, skilled and versatile there is no denying that his potential abscence would send this team crumbling. The coach is probably were aware of this. And this is most likely a factor besides the huge success of his that the fans absolutely love him.

Marchesin is pure class I still don’t understand how SC decided to bench him this season. Diogo is good too but not on marchy’s level

I think that’s more of an investment for the future kind of move + Rui’s dip in form more than anything. Again I agree Diogo is good but IMO not as good as Marchy who saved Porto’s behind 1000 times more than I have seen a keeper save a team. He is world class.

Mehdi had basically no service at all from his teammates. Last night it was surprisingly too many obvious situations where Mehdi was totally free and you could see on Mehdi's reactions after every situation when he got frustrated and waved with his arms. I have never seen that before. Even though I really like Porto as a team but the reality is that there are bunch of KHORE players, Evanilson on top together with Viera, Vitinia and Otavio.

On the side note, Otavio is really getting on my nerves, he falls down, crying, complaining after every single collusion. It's ridiculous. He's worse than all Italian player I've ever seen.

Grujic has grown a lot, he's doing great defensive work and been a good replacement for Uribe. I also like him a lot because he seems to be Mehdi's closest friend in the team.

If they watch game footage with the team, I’m sure Sergio will point out all the scenarios where Mehdi was open and didn’t get service. A player can’t be blamed for not scoring goals if he isn’t receiving passes.

A fact about Mehdi has been well established. When he is on the pitch the other team plays more defensively and that alone is a factor in Porto's successful run this season. So even when he is not scoring his presence is absolutely crucial in Porto winning a game. Many times, when Taremi was subbed with 10/15 minutes left, the other team equalised or even won the game or kept pressing with all guns blazing.
