          i think he was trying a curling cross for pepe to head in but failed.. woulda been a rather difficult and brilliant service had he placed anywhere near Pepe's big melon .... that guy woulda surely put it away near post..!
          he did give a small thought at first to shooting the ball but he saw too many defenders in the way and tried to go for the spectacular assist..!!
          props to Braga .... they were clearly the better coached and superior team ... especially in the 2nd half that i watched.. !!

              Records are made to be broken. I still think Porto will win the championship. Sporting could get within six points today and even if Porto loses to Benfica on May 7th and Sporting wins all of its matches, they could still win the title by beating Vizela and Estoril at home (13th and 10th in the table respectively). They need to regroup and win decisively at home vs Vizela on Saturday. The good thing about the Benfica match is that Ramadan will be over on May 2 so that Mehdi will not be fasting.

                  When they have several opportunities, with Octavio's shot was the best one (it was last minute of the game) - why is it that Mehdi's misplaced pass the difference? Burden of proof ...

                          Only three games left. The goal difference is that much more that even if they lose two and only win one of them they will still win the league. They have home games against Vizela and Estoril left with an away game at Benfica in between them.

                            Actually, it's 3 more games. If Sporting wins against Boavista (currently leading 1-0), Porto will be 6 points ahead with 3 games remaining for both teams. Then, Porto only needs to grab 4 out of 9 remaining points to secure the league title.

                            In case both teams would end up on the same points, Sporting will have the advantage as H2H is the tiebreaker (before goal difference). Both games ended in a draw (1-1 and 2-2), with Sporting scoring more away goals.

                            The fourth game you are referring to is the Cup Final against Tondela.

                                pics of the exact moment of a contact .. can be deceiving and make it look a much bigger deal than it really was..! vid of it would be more convincing ...!!

                                i saw the other PK looking incident with Evanilson... now that looked much more like a PK worthy foul... especially since he got the touch on the ball before keeper wiped him off
