I'm an Arsenal fan and I would not want Taremi anywhere near the EPL. I think he's in a great spot in Porto.

                Fun Fact.

4 more points for Porto and they will break their own record by having the most points (1 season) in Liga Nos's History!
88 points is the previous record achieved by Porto and benefica.

What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

Team of the week (week 32)

Mehdi Taremi (Porto) 7.3 – The Iranian has been very important in FC Porto's journey towards the most likely title. With the bis against Vizela, he reached the goal of 24 goals in all competitions. In addition to the two goals (in four attempts), he achieved four valuable passes and a total of 11 actions with the ball in the opponent's area, even though he often started from the left flank.

Look at what Luis Diaz is doing in Liverpool, him and Mehdi were the best players on Porto just a few months ago.

No doubt Mehdi will absolutely tear it up where ever he goes. Look at what the likes of Bruno Fernandes and all the other Portuguese-based players are doing in the EPL. Which of them had the numbers that Mehdi does? Answer: none of them

There is one thing about Taremi that is different to players like Diaz. Taremi is a team player. Others would only involve the team when they have no option other than passing the ball. For example, if Diaz took the ball and there are only two defenders in front of him before he gets to the goal and there is a team mate in a scoring position, he would not pass the ball, he would try to dribble the two players and try to score himself. Taremi would pass the ball.

Fernandes’ stats at Sporting would surprise you then…

Fernandes: 39 goals in 83 matches in Primeira Liga (36 goals in 85 matches at Manchester Utd.)

Mehdi Taremi: 36 goals in 64 matches in Primeira Liga

Who's stats look better? Mind you, Bruno is a midfielder but he scores a lot in general. Mehdi's stats even on the assists front look better in the Primeria Liga. Bruno ha similar stats to what he had at Sporting, for Manchester.
