Happy they sub him tbh. Guy cannot handle many full 90s in a row and with azmoun absence he is Guaranteed a start vs syria so better he is fully ready to play that and not pull anything there
Historically he picks up a lot of knocks at tm duty.
Assist was super nice, him and sinisterra look to have a real exciting chemistry this season
I wonder what the coach made of his players performance in the second half then. Beautiful pass from ARJ - he is the kind of player you keep on the pitch (fitness permitting) as he can do something like that to win/turn around the game for you.
He should have rested ARJ for the second leg in Sweden to keep him for this game.
Maybe somewhat lucky for JB, the Daillo deal not happening anymore. With the way he was performing it wouldn't be too shocking if he would have lost his starting spot for a while..
Its unfair of the coach to say that considering and all the three attacks Feyenoord had in the first half were from Alireza's key passes. One was a shot on net, one was the goal and another right after the goal was a great chance where the attacker hit the side of the net.
Alireza had two turnovers (both in the opponent's half).
Other than that, he was invisible like rest of Feyenoord's attacks
Did he have a good game? No
Did he have a bad game? No
Did he deserve to get subbed out and publicly called out by his manger after his team got their cheeks clapped while he was on the bench? Absolutely not.
