Apart from the amazing goal, wasn't really impressed with him.
Haven't had the chance to look at the stats, but turned ball over way too many time and his pass accuracy was not good either.
Hopefully the Goal he scored today further helps him get his confidence back
Edit: just looked it up. 15 lost possessions and 79% pass accuracy. Three off target crosses and two unsuccessful let ng balls.
Not terrible, but could be better. I guess overall with the goal, an average performance.Last edited by The; 02-20-2022, 08:16 AM.

His replacement was more active in 25 minutes than JB.
His goal definitely saved his otherwise "meh" performance, but he will have some competition if he doesn't tidyup a bit with his passes and dribbles.

At tleast, ever since Jahanbaksh has been the leading goal scorer for Iran in the WC Qualifiers 3rd round,
he should be considered a striker who plays off the wings, rather than the other way around.
If you look at him that way, his stats look way better.
Not that he couldn't further improve. But my point is: viewed as a striker, he's already an impact player.
For TM three striker system:
Azmoun (CF), Taremi (left wing striker) and Jahanbaksh (right wing striker) are my given default strikers with Jahanbaksh as the captain:
Azmoun
Taremi - Jahanbaksh
Of course, all three can and should switch around at will to totally make a mess of the opponents defence.
