I think we’re solidly past the Arabs. Our sights are set on SK and our future WC opponents (TBD). Let’s not give the Arabs a chance to even dream of being in the same category as our boys and TM.

the guy did develop into complete package striker. There is no doubt about that. He barely loses any balls, has good techniques to switch play, is physical enough to roll with basically any defenders as chelsea game showed (he wont dominate the extremely physical cbs vali kam nemiyare), and in terms of heading, running in behind, even now outside of box shooting he is one of the rare CFs that can harm you in so many different ways. His movement is most intelligent part of his game.

Imo, even is he decides for lyon that is good. The coach has a major long term thing for him and would build team around him, could score loads of goals immediately in that crap league and probably get them CL qualification. They have a very strong midfield with aouar, caqueret, guimaraes. Azmoun is the type of player that if a STRONG coach can have super close relationship with him, push him, constantly motivate him he can give even more than what he showed recently.

Still, I think if he can get pre contract agreement with AC milan or leverkusen it is worth waiting the extra 4 months, just bc ligue 1 compared to those 2 is so weak.
