great goal.
from highlights really bizarre that they lost. Had a million chances, conceded on one stupid breakaway when 1-0 up and then conceded the 2-1 off a brilliant shot.
Karim was great. Unlucky not to have 2 assists as well. He is keeping himself in shape despite not always starting, definitely solidifying him TM spot.
Milad also made many great overlaps that created a lot of space for his teammates.
In general the level of play seemed higher than what I typically associate with this leagueComment

That was an elite level run and goal by Ansarifard.
I know when he first showed up, many here, including myself, expected him to become a star player in a top ligue.
It didn't work out that way. He even had a slump period here and there. But through all that, he still kept showing his potential.
In the last few years I noticed that he has ripened and matured very well. If you were going to plot a curve it would be concave, starting high, sloping down, hitting a bottom, but then sloping upward again.
He definitely still has a place in TM.Comment

He will be part of 2022 squad and rightfully. He still can help the team.

The younger players also look up to him a lot. True he never fully lived up to his potential, but he has become a leader. Can't forget how calmly he slotted the penalty against Portugal.
