He improved our passing and control in midfield a lot when he came on. His range of passing is like 10x sarlaks.

Nourollahi was solid. Ghoddos was very good imo and always looking to create something.

Poor performances from Salmani (first 20 mins he was a walking turnover), ARJ (I think he has beaten his guy 2/11 1v1 attempts), and Gholizadeh who just looks very out of form. All 3 of them could do with subs.

Amiri offensively didnt provide much but one crucial intervention to stop counter attack. Shoja didnt do well at all on khrbins chance but besides that he was ok. Kanani takes a bit too long to pass the ball imo.

Overall for 2nd half we need to sub both wingers quickly, try to get taremi more involved. They are marking him with 4 guys super tight. IT leaves space if a winger can beat his guy 1v1 and penetrate the box. IMO ghayedi and torabi are perfect for these kind of situations, specially given how bad gholi looks atm.

I feel like Salmani gives nothing offensively at RB. A lot of it is bc he is left footed and naturally wants to come in so he cant provide any width, crossing, etc. Hardani would give another dimension there.

First half. There's of course lot's of negatives, but some positives as well.

I'll only talk about the positives in this post to balance out the many negatives to come.

1. Ghoddos once again played well. Great passing and more. Finally someone who can reliably play good corners and freekicks.

2. JB: played farly well too (could be better, but not bad), but the big posiive takeaways for me: his ball controll/touch has improved and his dribles more successfull. Fast decision making His confidence is back.

3. Amiri: once again good.

Fully expected 45 mins of turd football that we are now well-accusstomed to under this management. Sarlak's idiocy thankfully costing him his single brain cell and not red card for us. Saeid already making us look like a more respectable outfit. Regardless, utterly no plan in possession, our best hope is a Ghoddos set-piece delivery. Get another striker up for some more bodies in the danger zone at least given we remain loyal to the no tactics just vibes approach. And all whilst giving them the best chance of the match.
