All other previous U23 coach more or less said and promised the same . Main difference are:
1- Character issue - Mkia has big ambitions and took huge risks given U23 failure history in Iran. He is no Peyrovani or Estili.
2- Continuity - 3 years contract regardless of results should give him time to succeed.
He will release list of 50 players probably next week and there are more than enough talented players in the list to easily qualify from group B in Tajikistan.
His main task will start after that for much more difficult 2nd phase confronting Teams like Japan, S Korea, KSA, Qatar , Uzbekistan....not to forget "senior"Iraq U23
