Uzbekistan Squad at Qualification, young but with experienced players
At qualification they were in group D with Saudia Arabia, Kuwait and Bangladesh,
They bear K8(5-1). Bangal (6-0) and tied with Saudi arabia (2-2). They top group D but since they are host of championship games their result did not count that is how third team Saudi Arabia advanced.

Without good preparation we have little chance to defeat them. Last time we played them we tied.

Here is the latest from IFF GC Kamranifar on Mahdavikia as TM U23 HC. The title is misleading. Kamranifar doesn't say Mahdavikia is no longer the coach but all the indications are the the GC with new caretaker president is close to parting ways with Mahdavikia.
