According to few online reports, Mkia is no longer TM technical adviser/manager.

Mehdi Mahdavi kia, who was also selected by the football federation as technical director of TM ! team at the same time as the head coach of U23, this week withdrew from cooperation with the football federation as technical director.
Mehdi Mahdavi kia has withdrawn from working with the football federation as technical director, because he has no contract with the federation.

Azizi Khadem last year appointed Mkia as his personal adviser regarding TM but occasionally referred to him as TM technical adviser but there was no contract and official statement by IFF except comments of Azizi Khadem during various interviews,
Mahdavikia during previous TM training used to be present but not during January training and Iraq match.

This news from Iranvarzeshi and Tarafdari is day after Chia Foadi statement and in response to interviews by Amiri and Khadem.
Chia statement was not done without Mkia approval.

According to Azizi Khadem (IFF) &Salehi Amiri ) . Mkia is U23 coach and there is no issue.

Despite reports on his resignation from Technical Director off IFF, FIFA site still have his name there with that designation.

U23, Mahdavi Kia, FIFA days:

(Since both Olympic Commitee President and IFF chief insist Mahdavia is still U23 coach, and he has not publicly denied it I take it he is the coach with responsibility)

Last year Mahdavi Kia suggested that AFC reschedule AFC U23 games to FIFA days in order for clubs to release their key players. This suggestion was echoed repeatedly in Iran media and IFF chief Azizi Khadem supported the idea and said he will follow up with AFC in this regard.

Reasonable, practical or wishful thinking?

*-FIFA days, AFC games, Asian games schedules has been set few years in advanced a will not change short of major disaster they will not be changed let alone for convenience of youth games.

*-AFC u23 games was set 3 years ago for January 2020 but due to the Corona was rescheduled to June of 2020 and short of another Corona type disaster will not change.

*-Scheduling an international tournament not a easy task and involve various factors and consideration not limited to logistics and financial
but conflicts with other scheduled events.

This suggestion has been a wishful thinking and a distraction and unpractical, 2022 AFC U23 will take place as schedule on June 2022.

Unpractical suggestion.
FIFA days for AFC since suggestion was made,

*-Jan 24-Feb 1
*-March 21-29
*-4 days in May (*)
*-Nov/Dec (FIFA World cup)

AFC U23 minimum required days.
19 days (June 1-June 19).

How does it possible to fit 19 days games into 9 days FIFA days?
Does Mahdavi Kia expect FIFA to change his worldwide regulation for U23 AFC game? or reschedule AFC games to Nov/Dec WC period?

There are no practical merits for such expectations.

Date of AFC U23 games will not change but does Mahdavia utilized FIFA days?

Don't bother others for a fix without first trying to solve the problem yourself

*-December Period
*-Jan FIFA days (Jan 24-Feb 1)
*- PGL/Azadegan Half season rest days (Feb 1-Feb 18), ignoring 2 reschooled game

U23 could have had 3 training camps for preparation but they have missed all. When does he expect to show up, watch some game and start some training camp

Fans expect Coach to address this concern directly statement by media manager won't do it.


Practical suggestion regarding FIFA days and U23

PGL half season +1 took 3 months PGL started October 21, 2021.
PGL stopped for Mid-season on Jan 24 after 16 games (one extra game from second half)

according to League schedule the 17th w competition starts on Feb 15 with games in 5 days). IF league) follow own schedule games should end weeks before AFC u23 games in June 2022. No conflict with club releasing their players, and all that JAZZ

Mahdavi Kia was not really involve as IFF technical director. He was nominated by Azizi Khadem over a year ago given his status and language. He was not member of IFF technical committee. When Mohases left TC, IFF selected new members and director on January this year. Zneasab was selected as director and Kalani and Roshan were new members.
After the January reshuffle, replacing Mahdavi Kia was a done deal but IFF preferred he resign as IFF representative (T director) at FIFA.
Perhaps not to appear replacing him because of Israail).
M Majedi director of IFF youth committee and member of board will replace Mahdavi Kia as technical director.

Code name Full time

Majedi who is a candidate for vacant position of TD of IFF at FIFA used "full time" job more than once. Why emphasis?
For 2021 IFF election, Ali karimi, Azizi khadem, Qmars Hashemi and Ajorlu were final candidates.

Ali Karimi nominated Mahdavi kia as first vice president. Mahdavi Kia was not in Iran and that created controversies but ultimately Election committee approved Mahdavi Kia(because he was busy in Germany, he sent his brother Hadi and was not accepted finally his attorney signed documents.)
Majedi himself was a candidate for board of directors.
Majedi was elected and Karimi failed and Mahdavi Kia was busy in Germany.

He was a candidate for Vice president of IFF but has no time to come and sign documents.
