Well looks like I was alaki mad for losing that Pot 2 spot. Both USA and Mexico won today so they confirmed their place. Uruguay also won the other day so they also confirmed their place. Now even sweden is in pot 3 (if they qualify), so never mind japan or us.

Looking at how things are going :

Iran
Morocco
Korea Republic
Egypt/Senegal
Nigeria/Ghana
Tunisia/Mali

And pot4 has some quality teams in them! Like ecuador

In other words there are no easy groups for us. I have feeling we get :

Egypt are missing an entire backline.

First choice RB Akram, one of the best youngsters in egypt is out with torn ACL.

First choice CB partnership of captain Hegazi and Wensh is out. The young CB CQ found as replacement during AFCON Abdelmoneim broke his nose in the last match. They will play 4th and 5th choice CBs.
