Having said that, we will be ready for the grass rolling, the pushing/shoving, the referee harassment, and playing downright dirty. We've been down this road before.
      lol.
      a derby!
This is as much a "derby" as a Barcelona-Espanyol is in the context of champinship.

the only similarities are the violent hacking, rolling, abuse and cussing.

Iraqis will try everything they can to get us a red card because they know this is their only chance to win. They are going to put more pressure on the ref than on TM.

We all know Iraq is not that good of a football team but for them playing against Iran always motivates them. They will play tough, aggressive and dirty against us.
I really hope we can finish our chances and not fall
            Asleep in defense.

I don't think you know what a derby is.

It's not a derby. It's straight up war.

To be clear. I don’t think of this as an away game. Iraq has no advantages over TM by playing in Qatar. Thus, the point about a draw in an away match is moot. Go for the win! We can talk about a draw in Seoul.

They would probably have more fans though. I don’t know if fans are allowed for this game but based on Qatar vs Portugal fans were allowed.

I heard Ali Adnan picked up an injury in the game with Korea and will be absent from the team on Tuesday. He is always one of the instigators of quarrel and fights on the field. Does anyone have more info?

I heard that too but 3 other key players who missed the Korea match are back. Humam Tariq, Safaa Hadi and Saad Natiq will play against Iran.

Jeez. All three are key players for Iraq who will be back.. But nonetheless missing Ali Adnan is a huge blow for Iraq. He is their best player and it is not even close...

Hoping ARJ or whoever it is playing RW takes advantage of this fact

Yes the stadium in Doha has VAR and it will be used for the Iran-Iraq match.
