What we learned from Iran vs Syria:
    • Jahanbakhsh should never play as a left winger again.
    • Salmani should never play as a right back again (and isn’t needed as a left back either).
    • Gholizadeh should play as a CAM.
    • Nourollahi should never play again because he lacks vision and decision-making.

The required lineup vs Iraq (based on available players):

    --------------Azmoun--------------------
    Taremi-----Gholizadeh----Jahanbakhsh
    -------Ezatolahi----Ghoddos------------
    Milad---Kanaani---Shoja----Moharrami
    ------------Beiranvand------------------

    Untouchable players:
    • Taremi
    • Azmoun
    • Ezatolahi
    • Ghoddos

Second half tactics with subs (based on available players):

    --------------Azmoun---------------
    Ghayedi------Taremi--------Torabi
    -------Ezatolahi-----Ghoddos------
    Amiri--Kanaani----Shoja--Hardani
    ------------Beiranvand-------------

    5th sub saved for yellow cards/injuries/poor performance/fatigue.

We don’t need to rest the untouchables (Taremi, Azmoun, Ezatolahi, Ghoddos) because this is our last game. They shouldn’t be subbed in the second half for rotational purposes. Also, Azmoun is rested.

With this tactic, we are subbing in four fresh players (wingers, full-backs) who will pressure Iraq's defence with their energy and work.

Iran needs to play aggressively. We played defensive every time vs Iraq during CQ era and we couldn’t win. Offensive tactics is what we need and where our quality will show.

If Iran plays like this, I'm confident that Iran will win.

Last time we played in that stadium was right before Asian Cup in 2019 and we managed to beat eventual champions Qatar 2-1 in a friendly with goals from Saman and Sardar

If the strategy is to come out guns blazing (not sure if we will, but let's say we do),
          how about the following lineup:

          --------------Azmoun--------------------
          Taremi-----Ghayedi ----Jahanbakhsh
          -------Ghoddos----Ezatolahi--------
          Milad---Kanaani---Shoja----Moharrami
          ------------Beiranvand------------------

Some good ideas. Agree on the offensive approach and 4-2-3-1.

But I would change the following from your starting 11:

Swap Ghayedi in for Gholizadeh (who has not been as good as previously in the last few games). Ghayedi in this setup should have a very free role to drift around anywhere around and inside the Iraqi's penalty area to cause complete havoc.

Flip Ghoddos left and Ezatolahi right.

                --------------Azmoun--------------------
                Taremi-----Ghayedi ----Jahanbakhsh
                -------Ghoddos----Ezatolahi--------
                Milad---Kanaani---Shoja----Moharrami
                ------------Beiranvand------------------

Milad has also not been good the last few games, so I'd be open to put someone else there, but I'm not sure who.

Also I'd be happy to have Abedzadeh in goal, but Beiro was good last game so he'd deserve to start again.

Good interview with Skocic. He says not being present at the training sessions and the Syria match due to COVID-19 positive tests were the most difficult times for him. He is always very calm, professional and objective. The only negative point about the interview is Misaghi who should really pursue a salesman job at the bazar-eh bozorg-eg Tehran. I am sure he will do very well attracting people to his hojreh.

                  Go TM!

aziz khadem interviue, talks about VAR, and to get it for the korea game. criticezes that it hasnt been fixed before and mentions other mismanagents shortly. . we have to have it atleast temporarely against korea so we can host. and talks about problems with getting var.. he actually seems much more proffessional than the ones before him. hope he follows up the talking.

                          My lineup:

                          ------------Taremi--Azmoun-------------
                          JB------Ghoddos---Ezatolahi------Gholi
                          Milad----Kanaani---Shoja---Moharrami
                          --------------Beiranvand----------------

I'd still invert the wingers so they can cut in & shoot instead of just crossing it in aimlessly and ending up 0-0. Jahanbakhsh scored against Syria while playing left wing

                          S - E - C - U - L - A - R - I - S - M

guys we need to adopt a MDR. Misaghi Disclaimer Rule.

If you post interview/video/segment/etc where Misaghi is present, just use this simple 3 Letter Code at the end of your post, can be in parentheses to indicate that this animal/clown is conducting the interview/generally breathing in the vid you posted.

This will allow others to mentally prepare before clicking play button so they dont trigger any adverse physical/mental side-effects by hearing his crappy voice before fully ready.

lmao thats a good ide. my eyes and ears burn after watching and hearing that dude.. i will be so happy that day i se a respectful and proffessional intervue done by our tv hosts. I have to say, the gol bezan intervue with Marijo Tot was the first proffessional intervue i heard. this guy doesnt eaven ask a question he just says his oppinion and the one intervued just sits quiet and waits for the question that never comes, then hmm he starts speaking and tryes to reply.. and gets cut of halfways
