Good first half overall.

Great run & cross by Taremi, great header from Jahanbakhsh.

Azmoun had a good chance, did well to take it first time but poor finish down the middle right at the keeper.

Would like to see Ghoddos in the second half for Nourollahi. & I like seeing Azmoun and Taremi up top together.

There was a 20 minute spell there where we were excellent. Calm, composed, strong, smart and with alot of intent.

However, these things don't mean as much versus a team like Iraq.
They want to draw our players into stupid fouls, or press and counter.

Game is not over.

Great goal by JB. JB and Ezatollahi have been excellent. Taremi is triple teamed but working damn hard.
Noorafkan on the attack is excellent.
Amiri playing his usual after a rough first 10 min.
Moharrami seems a bit slow and mistake prone.

Iraq is there for the taking. We can get the 2nd, and even more if we just pick up the pace a bit and finish.

Noorafkahn is playing well. Impressive. He used to be a midfielder when did he switch to defense or is he a utility player like amiri?

wow best half iv seen of Jahanbakhs in a long time! not only for the goal, he hustle and win balls in the defence! great job, Saeid looking good on winning balls aswell, just shame of the yellow card so soon, i guess it will be a sub in about 60 min for him so he isnt red carded?

i would like to se a few more balls played behind their defenders/straight passes cutting through their defence. But overall a very solid performance so far by TM. So far good job Skoochie-man. Also, 21 is it Noorafkhan? looking good in the game so far!

Ghaedi would destroy Iraq. I think we were a little conservative after the goal, should have whipped in some quicker crosses to Taremi/Azmoun who have a big heading advantage over their defense which doesn't seem that strong.

also, that weston mckennie team usa/chipotle commercial on Paramount + did not age well at all

What’s getting so under my skin about Skocic in this half is that he is not giving the instruction to the players to attack from the wing…..all of our chances have come from the wing and very minimal effort to try and play through the areas that are open AKA on the wing.

Honestly very little instruction to attack whatsoever after we scored…..I hate this stupid tactic so much. Man it’s really hard to understand or admire Skocic sometimes and this is a prime example of it

8-9 games in and im yet to discern a clear team tactics/strategy from his TM..!!???
Lucky for him they all been Ws so....!! but its becoming hard to argue against the idea that it just maybe the Players that our pulling off these victories mostly on their own...??

He got a yellow where there was no need for a foul. Just laziness that doesn't want to chase his man and so commits a foul. Can't afford another yellow and playing with 10 man.

That goal was all Noorafkan passing between the lines (not seen any TM LB do such madnesses in all my time) and Potter getting ARJ to play teqball for 2 years. What a man.

Nourallahi and Nourafkan have no place in TM in my opinion. So sad that we don't have Nekou and Ando anymore, just imagine the current Team with those two players in the Middlefield... cheat mode

They've both been fine lol... Actually Nourollahi has been average but Noorafkan has been very good IMO
