Sepahan doesn't play bad, persepolis used to play decent but this year with nour being gone and torabi shitting the bed they play tokhmi as well.
Aluminium also play some half decent football generally.

How mehdipour is already 27 and was never call up? Is he over performing this season?

He definitely was in and out of form since joining SS, I think consistency was a thing he struggles with but his flashes he used to show in his ZA days I remember him from were amazing. I think when he was younger he just wasn’t chosen ahead of more experienced players/wasn’t considered by CQ but now with our low level options in CM we can absolutely use him. Hope he gets a chance in the coming camps and I think he might if skocic and co choose to experiment a bit once we seal qualification.

I was hoping Y. Salmani to fill the CM spot (basically take Nourollahi's spot) but from what I saw from Sepahan he is more an offensive midfielder than a pure CDM

he is not a CDM at all but nor is nour lol...

Yasin can play 8 for sure and anyways that is role kia designated him in Omid side too.

^ Yasin Salmani needs to make a move to Europe to get developed. He will miss a great window if he doesn't. This is what Shojaei talked about in the Globezan interview. He basically said that we have a major problem with youth development and we only have onesie twosies like Yasin and Allahyar and even compared to when Shojaei himself was 18 or 19 we have regressed.

jn is a good coach a really nice fresh air
in our coaching . when he taked over foolad
after 4 matches they wgere in last place.
he has no choice to go with who ever is
better in practice or whomever fits his style
to get rsult and dig the team out a big hole
it was in so cant blame him for that.
last year he won hazfi and his team had a great
showing in acl....

He is not new to Foulad, He has been Foulad's coach since May 2019 except 4 games this season
He coach one of most stable, trouble free resourceful with one of the best youth academy in Iran.
His team ended ranked 6th last year and currently rank 7th.
He play one of uninspiring ugly football in the league and always blame others or unable to recruite more experience player.

I will argue Nekonam was very lucky by winning Hazfi cup , playing only two good teams and winning both on PK . Regardless of luck he won and credit to him .
