Am I missing something?
I searched the forum but couldn't find anything so Mods please forgive me and close the thread if there is already a futsal worldcup thread.

What I love about Iranian women is their resilience. They say you cannot play Soccer because of hejab, they say ok we will play with it, and go on to win the AFC futsal championship. They say, you cannot advance in sciences or math, they go out and win scientific prizes. They say you are weak, they go out and win martial arts medals.

I cannot wait for the day when they have the freedom to achieve their full potential without being forced to put that rag on their head.

Congratulations to Ms. Nazemi for her achievement as the first female referee at the men's futsal WC. You are blazing a path for other women and girls and should be highly commended for it.

p.s. Fereshteh Karimi and some other World class Futsal players just wrote a letter to FIFA and condemned the lack of a women's futsal WC as sexist. Good for them.
