Sardar and Taremi will both start, we need our A team vs UAE. Away game in front of fans with the refs on their side, it won't be as easy as some think.

if we can manage max 4 pt and minimum 2 pt assuming lebnon 3 pt
we be in cruise control mode to 2022 wc.
uae will give a$$ to get 3 points from iran
which will be our toughest away match even imo more tough then sk away.
amiri on lb is must
with moharami on rb
saeed and ahmad noor should be our starters
even though i like to see ghodos and saeed in that 2 position which it wont happen
we might see more conservative approach with sarlak and ahmad.
gholizadeh and jb will be our other 2 mdf
with mehdi and sardar 2 forwards.
our bench is super strong and should make a big impact.
I reckon our CM should consist of Ezatolahi, Amiri, Nourollahi, Hajsafi and Salmani. Ghoddos, Gholi and Torabi as CAM/WG.
I would go with this line up in both games:
Beiranvand
Moharami Kanaanizadegan Shoja Noorafkan/Aghaei (wishful thinking)
Nourollahi Ezatolahi Amiri
Ghoddos Azmoun Taremi
Subs:
Gholi
Ghaedi
Torabi
Salmani
Ansarifard

UAE look dogshitt overall from my earlier limited viewing from last round of games, but they are gonna give it a good go @ home at the start of the match aginst us ..! we just gotta make sure to come out firing on all cylinders in order to beat them into submission by 35min or so..!!
just dont loose track of their Striker sia dude Al Malakhdude uptop and keep him under wraps and the rest of them cant do shitt to trouble us defensively..!!
they look much weaker side overall than Syria and forever more from my recollections, they've succumbed to an eventual Loss one way or another when facing TM ?? so i think themselve know they be lucky just to manage a draw against us...!! i'll be expecting full 3 points there for sure...!
SK away is clearly the biggest challenge in this group and i'd advise an overall more cautious and patient approach in that game...!! I'd look to for most part emulating what Iraq did against them knowing that we are a far more formidable Counter Attacking team than Iraq and far more capable of getting the W if they get too saucy and try to push too hard for a victory against us..!!
keep Son in close wrap and dont let him get into groove of things the rest of their attackers are mostly toothless and sloppy finishers..! They have an absolute Stud in DM position, i think number 6?? thats like everywhere cleaning up their mess and protecting their otherwise shaky backline and avg keeper..!! if we can keep that guy under control and get by him defensively, i fancy many solid golden chances against them on counters..!
i also figure we have the pre-match, All Important Confidence Advantage on them overall (thanks in large part to CQ) so i wouldnt mind us going at them Hard at the starting whistle, in order to Unnerve them further and hopefully get an early Opener which will then make it much easier to see them off for the rest of the macth..!!
i'd be ecstatic with 6points, plenty satisfied with 4 , pissed if we drop points vs UAE..!!Last edited by BacheLot; 09-28-2021, 07:29 AM.

My two cents:
- UAE:
I haven't watched them play since maybe AC 2015 (when we beat them last minute thank to Gucci), but from their results it seems that they haven't necessarily improved in the last couple of years (unlike e.g. Qatar, who's national team and league have both become much stronger). They weren't able to beat Libanon and Syria. Their only dangerous and skilled player I remember is Omar Abdulrahman and he doesn't even seem to be in the squad these days. I wouldn't underestimate Ali Mabkhout and Fábio Lima, but again, we were able to handle stronger strikers than them. We know ourselves though: Arab teams are always a struggle. Still, given the current circumstances and our confidence, our only goal should be 3 points.
- Korea:
I'm really looking forward to this game. Last time we played them in a non-friendly game is already 4 years ago (0-0 in Korea; we had already qualified before that game). The game before that was the one in Azadi, when we beat them 1-0. I cannot remember any better performance vs. Korea than in that game. We really controlled them for 90 minutes (highlights). Our players have developed a lot since then and given the results of the Korean NT, they don't seem to have gotten back to their golden times yet either. They and their fans respect/fear us more than we think. We're playing at home. We showed 5 years ago (with similar key players) that we able to control them and not to win by luck. That'w why: our goal here should also clearly be 3 points.

Have IFF said anything about the ticket sales? Im worried they just let in men, since fifa/afc been quiet about it abd that its a planned trick from them. So when iff doesnt sell tickets to females we are either banned or lose our home games. Last time fifa told iff before the games buts its worrying quiet now. I dont want us banned right before we qualify to world cup so i hope iff doesnt mess this up and officially ends this ridiculous female ban rule.. :/.....
