A gentleman, presumably from the UAE, once told me that Persians are lucky that the Muslims beheaded their king and brought civility to their savage society. The irony of beaheading to bring civility was completely lost on this gentleman. He also stated that I should be ashamed that my country made an immigrant out of me. All this to say, I really hope Iran beats UAE on October 7th. It will not make my situation better, but it will bring reprieve to this constant reminder.

He seemed to be very proud to be a Muslim, so I reminded him that despite Islam's claim of being a complete religion and the last religion of God, Muhammad's act of marrying a 6 year old would be considered child rape in today's world. Islam's claim to be a complete religion and its rules everlasting, did not even last 1400 years.
That being said, UAE is so much more advanced despite a fraction of the resources of my motherland. All I can do is to be the best that I can be and remember that Iran rises again one day.

You guys might not like this but I am totally against going " all out" on UAE. I would play clever and safe against UAE. First of all IMO there is no such thing as A team or B team all of our squad are top class in Asia. I would give Ghayedi , gholizadeh and Ahmad noor chance to start against UAE and bench Taremi , Jahanbakhsh and Ezzatolahi (they are all on yellow). I think Ghayedi and Azmoun can bond pretty well together and even if taremi was not on yellow I would give ghayedi a chance to start against UAE . Maybe sub in taremi and jahanbakhsh in last 10 minutes.
UAE has been pretty lucky to get 1 points from Lebanon and syria. Watch their games. I would deffo not go all out on UAE.

Taremi is on yellow (iraq)
Jahanbakhsh is on yellow (iraq)
Ezzatolaahi is on yellow (iraq)
Shoja is on yellow (syria)
Mohammadi is also on yellow (iraq)

They solely rely on oil income and outsourcing which means that once their oil runs out they will go back to living in tents and camel herding. If UAE faced US sanctions their entire "country" or State would crumble within a few days let alone resist US aggression for over 42 years and continuing. How you can even compare that tiny artificial state to one of the greatest nations on earth is beyond me but i reckon it has more to do with your personal inferiority complex growing up abroad and the influence of Western media (propaganda/brainwashing).

We need to go all out. Playing safe or using in-experienced players when you can get an easy 3 points is nonsense.
You play to win against lesser opponents, because all other teams will also play to win against those weaker teams.
a win against UAE or lebanon counts the same points as a win against a Korea or Iraq. You go all out because when you do face a tough korean team, 3 points is not a guarantee.
If you want to test younger players, do it when you clinch a WC spot“It is easier to fool the people, than to convince them they have been fooled." - Mark Twain

2019 and they are very good team
i put them above iraq and i look at this group
3 team race iran s.k uae 2 to advance ,a point is not bad and i agree with you no need to go with in experience need to go for the kill.

Every game is a final and UAE is by no means a walkover. We play away in a hostile environment, Van Marwijk is coaching them (took Saudi to the WC and did OK for Australia in the WC as well) so I predict either a tie or a narrow win. South Korea is always tough and they will be looking for revenge for sure. If we can get 4 points out of these games then we did very well.
