we have too many reserve forwards
kaveh can make a differece with his experience
specially with gholi in te game
ALLAHYAR will gethus chance
its better he stay with his club and practice.
we have 3 team melli which almst all players are on same level in every positionEXCEPT RB
WHICH is our inly weakness nt just tm but all over
iran.
Three players will get cut before the matches, I anticipate Kaveh to be one of them. He didn't play last week since it was against Club Brugge which he's not allowed to play against due to a stipulation in his contract, and the week before that he performed poorly and was subbed out min 60.
Hey guys an unrelated question, what happened to Dejagah? Is he not in good form for his club? Why do you think he isn't invited to TM? I think his experience can still help the team greatly.
Too many tattoos probably. Let’s not forget he was very good in AC 2019, and was in the ‘team of the tournament’. He’s definitely not a 90 min player anymore. But if there is room for mediocre players like Ansarifard and Hajsafi because of their “experience”, then I don’t see how there is absolutely no room for Ashkan because his best days are over. Especially when you look at our pathetic midfield.

He is not Club Brugge's player anymore. OHL signed him for a year w/ option for an extra year. He was out the match against Club Brugge due to illness.

I don’t think his knees can handle football at that level anymore. There is a reason he is in div2 Qatar.

Too old and too slow now. Overall he was never the same after his major injury. Not that he’s gotten older I doubt we will ever see him again. great shame, he was world class initially when he came to TM.

Ashkan overall quality wise was the best of the bunch nearly the whole time he was a part of TM..!! However he seemed to be either a sick-note and/or lacked proper game fitness probably 70-80%? of the time he spend with TM..??
Guy coulda well been our best ever EPL based player and most consistent starter there too if he could avoid frequent injuries and knocks which kept him sidelined for most of EPL career too..!
I dont know of nor can recall a more impactful and memorable TM Debut from any other player in history of TM..!! i dont remember who was it against, but he stood out like a freaking sore thumb and i remember thinking holy hell, not only we gonna qualify to WC, we gonna win the fking group with this guy in our team..!! but then i think he had a knock on his knees and missed a bunch of the next TM fixtures due to injury ...!!

imagine the ref
against argentina
made correct call
on ashkan getting foul
and called the pk
and we won 1-0
imagine the ref
in i1ran vs iraq 2015
didnt red carded poladi
we would of won that
ac for sure
that was our best team
if those 2 events would
of happened ashkan would
of been our new parvin.
over all playing wise on the field
he was in another class
injuries really ruined him
Interesting Korea have only 7 players( 2 PL, 2 Bundesliga, 1 Turkey, 1 Russia, 1 France) in their squad. This should be their lowest number ever, specially in top 4 leagues.
