This was a very hard 3 points to win.

2nd half introduction of Golizadeh changed the dynamics of the game positively for Iran. Great player.

Moharami was very good too.

Maestro Taremi got us the goal, even though you could tell his energy level was not 100%. Still gave TM his all until he could barely walk anymore towards the end. What a soldier!

The game itself will take a while to digest...

Iran tops the table with 9 points, followed by S.Korea ar 7 and everyone else trailing after a massive gap!

If Iran takes the 3 points from S.Korea the next game, we're basically through.

You could clearly see the difference between Taremi and Azmoun. Great players both, but Taremi overtook him. Thats the difference if you stagnate at a team like Zenit.

you know who played the pass for taremis goal right? The combo play between the two was brilliant.

- Taremi was a bit too selfish at the end, but what a goal and set up by our two BFFs
- Our CBs are solid, VAR is for once our friend
- The Gholizadeh instance where he dribbled past the entire UAE right side of the field was gorgeous
- Jahanbaksh needs to be more CALM when in TM. He sent his crosses almost to the moon, and had weak shots. He can do much better

I don’t think he saw them & avoided the pass ..!?
He had 1-2 markers on his ass the whole game & his head seemed mostly down just trying to shake them to create an opening ..! I also blame the hot n stuffy ass weather in those instances, from personal experience, it’s also real hard to play heads up & smart football vaghti nafaset bala nemiad ..! Best most can do is just get stuck-in & try to barrel your way through on goal ..! Lol 😆

I think Gholizadeh is better than Jahanbakhsh. Also I think we need to get Ghoddos in midfield. Even if just for a half.

Jahanbakhsh would never be my first choice in TM.
