A classic Iranian lapse in concentration. Similar trend that we have endured over the years (Asia cup versus Japan, Persepolis in ACL final, etc). How our players don’t know the basics of footfall is shocking, PLAY TO THE FUCKING WHISTLE!!

Initially we were very good, but players keep lacking the final touch in the final third. We are CLEARLY missing Taremi as nobody is linking with Azmoun. We can only blame ourselves for that, gave Lebanon a gift and left out our best player.

I really hope our players stay calm.

The crazy thing is there is a common denominator here and thats the Beiro - Kanaani - Shoja backline. Kanaani - Beiro especially was part of literally all 3 of those instances. These players never learn.

lol, gust of wind reminding coach that you do not f**k around with your team structure until after you have already qualified. Azmoun is having to drop to Taremi's spot to get a touch which he is doing and he sets up the wings and they cannot get their wits about to deliver a cross and are instead kicking the ball whichever way they are facing.

We should still win this game but we need to slow down and be more precise with the ball movement.

Lets not get carried away yet. Honestly this half has Been our most dominant so far. We have pressed Them all game and made some good through balls that have opened there defence. Specially Jahanbakhsh has gotten in some good positions wide, but failed to make the last pass properly. They are parking the bus but it doesnt seem impossible to open. We just have to be clinical

All Those corners and we are not dangerous on a single one of Them

Their goal… what Can i say. We were unlucky and stupid at the same time. Its one of Those games where you dominate everything but the opposition gets one lucky strike.

And one last thing. Their goal has nothing to do with our coach tactics or Taremi not being there. Stop taking every oppertunity to spread your agendas. Lets see how out coach reacts to this. I myself would wish Taremi was here, as I Think he Would have scored on one og our chances. But he isnt, so get behind the team. We are playing well

One of the poorest team displays from Team Meli. This game goes to show how much a moment of through ball magic OR his strong and determined run to finish from Taremi is missed in this game. He makes a terrible display looks good.
Others noteworthy:
We used to be one of the best sides in Asia for finishing from a set piece, 20 corners and zilch to show for it. The movements in the box are so un-coordinated.
Mohrammi is hardly making any runs, badly needed when a team parks the bus.
Beiro has unfortunately picked up the habit of going down to early. The 9 goals he has conceded in 2 prior games are showing. I voted for Abedzadeh, too late now.
Interesting our best move came from Azmoon stepping 5 yards back from his central in the box position and made a through ball that we are used to seeing Taremi make for him. Bring on Allayar to play with him, take off a static Nourolahi.

gotta say, Saman has been very poor. He looks like he is excited for the start and trying to do too much or his head is not in the game

he's been all right in possession and movements upfront but been bullied way too frequently off the ball by lebonese.. ref hasnt done him any favor too calling for foul on a couple of those rough challenges

we need Allahyaar for Gholi at HT and give Sammy another 10 min or so to exert himself into this game or subbed out
