In these conditions with zero tactic or game plan he was thrown in there and played badly. He played great vs Bahrain and Iraq and changed those games.

He is a player who needs trust in that position and a few full games to get in sync and show what he is clearly capable of. It’s interesting how nourollahi, arj, gholizadeh can drop dozens of horrific tm games, even amiri when cq first brought him was weak for a while, taremi another example of that. Yet saman is expected to drop motm or else be subbed at half time.

Very weird considering the teams weakest spot is midfield and he is our most technical midfielder getting regular minutes and impacting games at the highest level of european league football

I suggest that we stay on the positive side. We faced an opponent that used the dirtiest tactics throughout the match and we kept our patience and cool and had two extra time goals that had never happened in the history of our TM. Our TM showed amazing character today. This team showed that it can come back and win even when the opponent tries to get on your nerves and take you out of your rhythm. This was a huge step towards our WC qualification and a great preparation for next Tuesday match vs Syria in Amman.

        Go TM!

That was the game changer and that how we won! Yet people are too blind and stubborn to see that lol

When you play in the EPL it becomes difficult to transition and play in a kose man kose hamsaye system.

He had the ball at his foot multiple times in the box and either shot it wide, or got blocked. First half, he was either unable to get open, or turned ball over with sloppy delivery

Did Beiro have a mini stroke or did he lose the ball in the sun? How do you let that floater land so close to the goal, even if you think it’s offside???

I mean he gave a perfect setup to gholi, he fucked it up.

In general sardar super isolated and when the ball was given to him it was often with 4 people on him with his back to goal, and still he pulled through in critical moment.

One thing is for sure, the midfield connection to sardar is really poor, actually non existent for most of these games. We need to develop a reliable strategy to get balls to him and taremi in good areas without those balls always coming from one of themselves. That should be skocic task, yet it’s hard to see what development we have seen since he took over to actually address that.

Sure we can force our way through lebanon with 1000 crosses, but it doesn’t seem like a sustainable tactic to get results long term
