I will comment more on the game later, but we did amazing. Numerous iterations of TM have played games against opponents like this and come out on the losing end, but we did great.

In the few minutes that football was actually played, it was all one way traffic by TM. Of course Lebanese goalkeeper picked today to play like Neuer.
Well deserved win. The 2 goals were the Lebanese defense/dam bursting after constant attacks and physical superiority by TM.

I really like how Skocic understands the arab mentality and plays a more attacking football, but I also 100% understand everyone else who doesn't think he fits the bill/can't even come close to filling CQ's shoes.

Either way I'm just really happy we'll qualify for this world cup without me losing the last 50% of hair on my head + no shambools sawn off

By the way, I don't think anyone here is necessarily criticising the subs that Skocic made.

Sure, he made the right sub changes. He has got good results for TM and his sub choices are more often than not, very good. No one is doubting that and it isn't the issue(s) being raised...

If we get put in pot 2 that means we'll face weaker teams as the vast majority of the teams in pot 1 are stronger than 2, the same with pot 2 and 3, and so on.

The last two times I think we were in pot3? hence being put in the group of death with Spain, Portugal and Morocco.
