I have yet to see an actual written contract for Sardar's transfer. A team enquiring about a player is miles away from an actual contract. Many many details amongst multiple parties have to be ironed out or no deal. Millions and millions of dollars are on the line. Player's interest, selling team's interest, buying team's interest, broker a, broker b, broker c's interests... all have to align for a transfer to happen. Of course, as a free agent, things will get a bit easier.

zorya had an option to buy him for 3.5mil and didnt and from my recollections they were pimping him off to all sorts of possible buyers for similar 4-5mil too, but nobody stepped up to court their offers .... that could tell you much about his real marketability figure$..!!

If Sardar doesn't transfer by August of 2022, his chances of playing for a top club in one of the top 4 European leagues will drop by a lot. Yeah I know there are examples of players who transferred to top clubs at 29-31, but those cases applied to players who had played regularly and for years in those leagues.

I don't know, all I'm saying is I think his deadline to leave Zenit is this summer.
