I am saddened but not surprised by this whole fiasco. What Taremi did was wrong. Players can have disagreements about tactics and can even question their coach but only privately and not in the public. Taremi was wrong for airing his grievances against dragan publicly and he needs to understand this, apologize and have this whole thing sorted out quickly. The longer this whole situation festers the more it will hurt our team meli.

Against Lebabon TM will be fine without Taremi, even for the rest of the qualifiers.

All in all a lot of our players seem to have a connection to the regime, but i think it's like Sosha Makani. They don't know it better. While Shojai seem to be a very intelligent guy. But how many football players of that kind are realistic?

Tactics, plans, reputation, experience, CV etc are all secondary. The main measure of a coach is the results they get. Skocic, to my amazement, has gotten fantastic results. Can't argue with that...even though the most criticism he has received was after 1-1 result with Korea, after 10 consecutive wins. We have not beaten any great team...but we have gotten 31/33 possible points. 3 games were clutch/must win games during which Iranians usually wilt (Wiltmous?).

You could analyze a lot of things about why Skocic is winning..but the man is getting results and must be given the same respect as any coach with a bigger reputation.

I would love to have Taremi rehabilitated. But the man has to learn to STFU while serving in TM....
